Mặc dù sử dụng giao diện Android, nhưng ngay khi khởi động màn hình hiển thị của Nokia X không sở hữu giao diện của Android gốc, mà vẫn mang hơi hướng Windows Phone với giao diện kiểu ô vuông tương tự như Live Tiles. Đây được xem là cuộc “cách mạng” lên Android của Nokia nhưng lại không hề triệt để, tai photowonder có lẽ Microsoft vẫn muốn tạo ảnh hưởng lên những sản phẩm của Nokia bằng cách sử dụng dịch vụ của họ.

Tuy nhiên, phải thừa nhận rằng những ứng dụng mà Nokia và Microsoft mang lại cho chiếc Nokia Xcũng khá tốt. Đầu tiên là màn hình Fastlane quen thuộc – màn hình phụ cho phép dễ dàng truy cập những ứng dụng yêu thích nhất, tích hợp các ứng dụng của Nokia như HERE Maps và Nokia MixRadio.

Máy cũng hỗ trợ một loạt ứng dụng như Zalo, BBM, Facebook, LINE, Skype, Viber, ung dung hay cho android WeChat và Twitter. Nokia X có khả năng chạy 75% các ứng dụng hiện có của Android mà không cần thêm bất kỳ thao tác phụ nào.

Máy có 6 phiên bản màu sắc

Về cấu hình, Nokia X được trang bị bộ vi xử lý Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 lõi kép tốc độ 1GHz, RAM 512 hỗ trợ 2 SIM 2 sóng. Màn hình cảm ứng LCD độ phân giải WVGA (800 x 480 pixel) kích thước 4 inch. Bộ nhớ trong 4 GB, hỗ trợ thẻ nhớ microSD lên đến 32 GB cùng camera 3 MP, không có camera phụ.

Nokia X sở hữu kích thước 115.5 x 63 x 10.4 mm, trọng lượng 128.7 g, chạy hệ điều hành Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean nhưng bộ 3 phím bấm quen thuộc Home/Back/Menu đều không xuất hiện ở Nokia X mà thay vào đó là một phím cảm ứng chìm giữ vai trò Home kiêm luôn Back, riêng Menu thì phải thao tác trên màn hình (trượt từ dưới lên để thấy trình đơn tùy chọn).

Sử dụng pin Li-Ion 1500 mAh cung cấp thời gian đàm thoại liên tục là 13 giờ 20 phút trên mạng 2G, thời gian nghe nhạc 26 giờ và thời gian chờ 408 giờ.

Hiện tại, Nokia X được bán với giá 2.549.000 đồng, phần mềm chỉnh sửa ảnh cho android rẻ hơn 350.000 đồng so với thị trường Ấn Độ, và có sẵn các màu: xanh lá, đỏ tươi, xanh dương, vàng, đen và trắng.

Kết luận: Mặc dù vẫn còn những hạn chế trên chiếc smartphone Android đầu tay của Nokia, nhưng cần phải nhớ rằng, Nokia X được sản xuất cho phân khúc bình dân cùng mức giá khá hợp lý. Hy vọng những model tiếp theo của dòng Nokia X sẽ khắc phục được hạn chế này.
