I sort of enjoyed this book, but I felt there was something missing. I didn’t fully resonate with Cece’s character. Her relationship with Dennis just made me roll my eyes. I did like her friendship with her new roommates, and the idea of making good friends even at an older age. I also loved the side story about Michael and his fiance. I liked the fortune card reading, and I was hoping there would be more about that. This wasn’t really a book that stuck with me, and definitely not one I’d want to read again.
