Viewbix players are fully customizable with more than two dozen apps. Viewbix supports YouTube, Vimeo Pro and other third-party video hosting solutions and can be easily embedded and shared across the web, mobile devices and social networks to turn viewers into customers.

Small business owner, Ileane Smith, the founder of BasicBlogTips, a blog devoted to helping bloggers get started and find useful information about blogging and social media optimization, knew that visitors spend a longer time on pages with video and wanted to increase traffic and interactions, email subscribers and YouTube subscribers.

With the AWeber app that allowed her viewers to sign up for her email list and the YouTube app that played embedded videos on her Viewbix player, Basic Blog Tips increased click-throughs by 17% and app usage by 31%. In addition, social sharing has risen by 3%.

Tom Telford, the founder of Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals, wanted to improve engagement and interaction with website visitors. He also wanted to convert website visitors and blog readers to paying and loyal customers, but he was frustrated with the fact that YouTube is challenging for a small business owner to use and really doesn’t offer the tools necessary for improving engagement with website visitors. In addition, Tom wanted to share videos on the Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals Facebook page with his company’s 10,000+ fans and then convert those fans into customers as well.

With Viewbix, Tom was able to add call-to-action apps directly within Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals’ videos so that viewers could check for cabin availability and book cabin rentals immediately while watching the videos. Viewbix apps also helped Tom leverage content with RSS feeds, Google Maps, and photos right from Picasa. The viewer experience became an interactive experience that could be shared on the website, blogs, Facebook and Twitter. He was able to distribute his Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals Viewbix on Facebook, as well as on the company blog. His viewers are now able to check the weather or see a map of the location from within the Viewbix player before making a reservation without being taken away from his website to do so, reducing the risk of abandonment.

Tom was able to track his success that revealed his $200 investment in the Viewbix player has paid him back 13 times. He has added five new customers and has generated a number of qualified new customer leads.
Each new client represents an average of $550 for cabin rentals, resulting in an increase of $2,500.

Additionally, Tom was able to analyze which of his apps were most popular and saw the following results:

  • More than 33% of users click on the call to action within the Viewbix player
  • More than 30% of users click on the various apps in the Viewbix player
