How to Make Money During the Holidays

Typically, stores start advertising their Christmas items right after Halloween – although this year, I think they started a little early. Come on people – Give Halloween a chance!

I decided to wait until November 1, and give Halloween the attention it deserves. However, now it’s time to jump on Christmas income opportunities, and one of the ways you can make money over the holidays is by stringing Christmas lights.

Why do this?

Many people don’t like manual labor, simply put. Furthermore, some lighting jobs can be rather large, and lots of people just don’t have the time.

This opens up a big opportunity for entrepreneurs who are willing to work – even during the holidays. And because this is a seasonal business, many people overlook the profit potential.

What I’ve recently learned is that there is lots of money to be made in stringing lights – so much so that some “light-stringers” take several months of the year off from work to enjoy other hobbies.

Of course, this type of business if not for everyone. You can’t be turned off by the idea of manual labor, you need to be willing to work more hours during the holidays and you can’t be afraid of heights.

Ideally, multiple people working on projects will speed up the work and make the jobs more fun – that is, if you like the people you work with.
