The number of minor accidents has decreased by 18 percent and serious accidents by 25.9 percent
Spain, February 21, 2013 – The Minister of Employment and Economy of Castilla-La Mancha, Carmen Home, said that “the work that the regional government is developing in the prevention of occupational hazards has led to a reduction of 18.6 percent in the number of accidents in 2012. “
In absolute terms, last year there were 18,561 accidents with sick leave compared to 24,387 in 2011, representing a decrease of 5,826 accidents compared to 2011.

The province of Guadalajara also has reduced the number of accidents in 555 accidents, representing a decrease of 15.8 percent in absolute terms and by 11.1 percent incidence rate.
In the province of Ciudad Real has been less than 1551 accidents in 2011, down from 26.5 percent and 20.9 percent lower incidence rate.
In Cuenca, in absolute terms, there is a reduction of 460 accidents, which represents a decrease of 20 percent in absolute terms and 13.5 percent incidence rate.
In the province of Toledo 2214 accidents have occurred unless, percentage, representing a decrease of 25.7 percent from 2011 and incidence rate of 20 percent.
