Women looking for a “power suit” or trying to connect with a prominent business professional may be in luck. On Thursday, Feb. 21 at Jewel Restaurant, the New York chapter of Power of Women Exchanging Resources (POWER) is hosting a women’s Wine Night to help connect local business women and support the efforts of Dress for Success, a non-profit organization that collects professional attire for disadvantaged women.

MEDFORD, NY—(February 5, 2013)–Women looking for a “power suit” or trying to connect with a prominent business professional may be in luck. On Thursday, Feb. 21 at Jewel Restaurant, the New York chapter of Power of Women Exchanging Resources (POWER) is hosting a women’s Wine Night to help connect local business women and support the efforts of Dress for Success, a non-profit organization that collects professional attire for disadvantaged women.

Claudia Purita, owner of One Woman Wines and Vineyards, will not only supply her hand-crafted stock of reds and whites, but speak about her success as a female wine producer and vineyard owner in Long Island.

The event begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are $30 each. Jewel Restaurant is located in the Rubies Corporate Plaza in Melville at 400 Broadhollow Road in Medford, New York. Registration is open until Feb. 12. Women from any industry or professional background are invited to attend POWER’s Wine Night and network with influential business women in the area.
