E-commerce revolves around transfer businesses to electronic platforms so customers will search directly from their personal computers or laptops. M-commerce takes this one step additional and brings searching on to mobile platforms like smartphones and tablets.

Reflecting on recent market trends, evidence proves that mobile shoppers are poised to take over retail, choosing convenient purchasing methods with their smart devices. unfortunately, too many retailers still do not have mobile optimized sites or mobile apps, putting them at a severe disadvantage to meet newly emerging market trends.

Mobile Commerce Press reports that approximately 79 p.c of large online retail stores do not cater to mobile users. jonathan Shokrian and other experts say the number is so large due to the time and effort involved. It can take up to 18 weeks to build a mobile app for a store. Storeowners often fail to see the benefit of spending more than four months to develop a mobile app and see better uses for their budgets.

Complicated customization processes can also cause problems. many companies are now investing in mobile-commerce solutions research and development divisions to address these problems. while these strategies are thriving in shortening the app building time, the R&D teams run into issues when it comes to the customization process.
