Theory on recent mass EBAY non paying bidders.....

I have sold on ebay for 14 years.  In those years I would have maybe 2 people per year who did not pay for their items.  To this date, 9 months into 2014 I have had 44 non paying bidders on my items….

Here is my theory…ebay is losing mass amounts of money with the poor economy and few people are bidding…does not help any that the NSA tracks all your purchases….on ebay when someone buys something, I used to be able to see their addresses when I clicked on the shipping address….now, ebay disabled that feature, so you can not see their address until they pay.  When I checked on some of these addresses toward the beginning of this year, the addresses were non existent on Google maps….they did not exist.  I think ebay is providing us with shill bidders who win.  Ebay makes a final value fee when the item sells….usually 10% of what the sale price was and they charge this before the bidder pays….It is my impression ebay is behind these non paying bidders to make money.  It is your responsibility to chase down the non paying bidders to get this final value fee back, if you do not, ebay keeps the fees and charges you anyway even if you get no money from the buyer.  Furthermore, a lot of these buyers have a ZERO feedback rating.

I have at least 2 non paying bidders per week on the sale of 5 items….ebay sucks now.

On a side note, ebay is owned by one of the ELITE.  Since the elites own all the banks, cheating and swindling is a way of life for them….why not F-over ebay for good measure.  Afterall, it is you that has to chase down the money and we all know how lazy americans are now.
