National level vendor development programme cum industrial exhibition

New Delhi, Feb 18 (KNN) The MSME-Development Institute in association with Northern
 Railways, Rail Coach Factory- Kapurthala, National Small Industries Corporation Ltd and Laghu Udyog Bharat 
is organising a national level vendor development programme cum industrial exhibition.

The exhibition scheduled on February 19 and 20, 2015 at the institute premises in Okhla has an objective to provide an opportunity to micro and small enterprises in various technical fields to expand their market base and explore new marketing avenues in central public sector undertakings, government departments and large scale units.

There will be about 100 stalls from MSME (suppliers) and stalls from government departments and PSU (buyers) in the event.

Seminars and workshops on various topics such as registration procedure for the procurement in Northern Railway, RCF Kapurthala, DMRC and other government departments and CPSUs will be held during the two day event.

Under the Public Procurement Policy, a minimum of 20 per cent of the total annual procurement has to be made from MSEs by the central government ministries. (KNN/ST)
