400 exhibitors to showcase energy efficient solutions in Acrex India expo

Bengaluru, (KNN) More than 400 exhibitors from India and foreign countries will be showcasing their products on energy efficient solutions in the Acrex India the South Asia’s largest exhibition on air-conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration and building services.

The global mega event organised by Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) is scheduled from February 26 to 28 at India’s only LEED Certified Green Exhibition Centre in Bengaluru.

It will have the theme ‘LESS ENERGY = MORE LIFE’ to have a 360 degree approach for having a greener tomorrow.

Exhibitors will display a range of products including packaged chillers, system integrators, air handling and distribution products, unitary windows, refrigeration, water, electrical, services and others.

The target sectors of the exhibition include certain areas such as commercial and office buildings, hospitals, blood banks, clean rooms, automobiles, railways, aviation, commercial shipping, residential complexes, hotels, restaurants, defence, IT/ITES/BPO’s, cold storages, warehouses and Food processing, malls, auditoriums, multiplexes, salons, spas and health clubs, educational and research institutions, pharmaceuticals, financial institution and data centre.

The three day event will also feature workshops and seminars on topics like IT equipment design evolution and data centre operation optimisation, designing high-performance healthcare HVAC systems, open communication protocols for optimising building operations, refrigerant pumping and low charge ammonia refrigeration system, acoustic considerations in HVAC system and laboratory design: the basic and beyond.

ACREX India is growing phenomenally every year and is becoming the launch platform for many International Organisations like, UNEP, CIBSE, REHVA, EBTC, AMCHAM, US Commercial Services, VDMA Germany, KRAIA Korea and CAR China to network with the Indian industry. The expo in its 2014 edition, for the first time, garnered support from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India. (KNN/ST)
