Buyers are easily scared by small unfixed things, let alone major issues. Show that you’ve been a responsible house owner and get all the little details fixed.

Don’t leave gaps in the trim or behind plates of the switches. Call in a licensed home inspector to verify the condition of your Property for prospective buyers. This goes a long way towards establishing confidence that they are making the right choice in buying your property.

4) Exterior and Interior Design Matter.

If the houses exterior does not pique their interest, you have no hope of selling your house. Buyers should get a sense of your style and theme. Make it cohesive don’t let it be a hodge podge. Update the landscaping, paint the walls, and most importantly keep it clean. Consider hiring a professional designer to help tastefully stage the property.

5) Pricing matters a lot.

If you want to get serious offers your house has to be priced right. If you have done everything you should do to get a buyer and you have gotten no takers… chances are your home is priced too high.
