The Millionaire Real Estate Agent, by Gary Keller, Jay Papasan, and David Jenks:
This book is on virtually every best real estate book list and should be ready by anyone who is considering a career as a Real Estate Agent. There are fundamentally sound ideas and principles in the book that discuss the systems and processes you will use to help build your Real Estate career. While some of the content may be a little dated for 2020 the basic ideas on building your business as a Real Estate Agent still apply.
In the book, you will learn where to begin your career as a Real Estate Agent along with the best marketing and lead generation tools, how to reverse engineer your Real Estate business, and how to grow/scale it over time. This is a must-read Real Estate book.
How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie:
One of, if not the absolute best book on developing relationships with people. This book teaches you how to interact with other people so that you build great relationships. Real Estate is a relationship business and it’s important for anyone who is considering a career in Real Estate to understand that it first begins with the skills you have in winning people over. Everyone has 10-15 friends that are Realtors, after applying the methodology in this book you will be the Realtor they want to work with
Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki:
This book should be required in high schools today because it teaches you the difference between assets and liabilities and the type of compounding effect it can have on your net worth. In the book, Kiyosaki goes over the methodology behind Real Estate Investing and how investing in a personal home is actually a liability while investing in a cash flow producing property is an asset. This book is recommended in a lot of best real estate books lists.
The One Thing by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan:
This is another great Real Estate book for anyone who is considering becoming a Realtor. It’s a great business book in general too as it discusses some of the best strategies in building effective and efficient habits.
The book discusses how the value of simplifying one’s workload starts with focusing on the most important task in any given subject. This is the surprisingly simple truth behind creating extraordinary results.
Define the one thing, start with it and go from there!
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill:
This is a classic must-read book for anyone, anywhere who is growing a business, especially Real Estate Agents! Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill is truly a book about mindset and the role it plays in getting you to where you want to go.
In the book, you will learn the 13 principles that if mastered will lead you to extraordinary results in your Real Estate business. One thing you will notice after reading the book is that Napoleon hill does not define the ‘secret’ in each chapter he leaves it to the reader to determine that on their own and while it may frustrate some people it is done intentionally. The secret is always left for you to decide, should you choose to.
Ninja Selling by Larry Kendall:
This book is an absolute must-read for new Realtors as it brings a ton of great information to the table that is applicable right away in today’s Real Estate Businesses. Many of my friends have been using Ninja Selling without actually knowing that they are using ‘Ninja Selling’ or ‘Ninja Marketing.’
There is a huge shift in the approach of selling today in attracting clients to work with you vs the old approach of chasing after them. Stop selling and start solving with Ninja Selling.
The HyperLocal HyperFast Real Estate Agent by Daniel James Lesniak:
This book is a great one for anyone in Real Estate and especially great for newer Real Estate Agents.
