Liberty Consultants and KW Cares of St. Louis Team to Support Military

Liberty Consultants’ Director of Communications Robert Bird said he can’t emphasize how much this organization has done for St. Louis families. Bird’s own family members have been helped.
“We’ve been enabling people to stay sheltered for longer, to stay with their families, to not have to run out of food or water and to be able to feed themselves,” he said. Several statewide wildfires have forced tens of thousands to evacuate their homes. The philanthropic group has now opened a shelter at their office and dedicated itself to assisting families. “This is a community-first organization. Most of our clients are victims of disasters and need a lot of help and are in need of cash,” Bird said. Bobbie says helping families during disasters goes hand in hand with branding itself as a Christian-based business.

“We officially don’t discriminate based on religion. Last week, I was down on a date. Within the hour, I received a death threat on Facebook from a disgruntled individual that I can’t name because I don’t even want to know his name. The individual tried to ruin my entire business and in fact, called me personally, said his family would be watching our office + killed himself because he wouldn’t get his job back,” he says.
KW Consultants has never had a formal policy regarding religion after taking the 501(c)(3) status. Bird said there is no controversy regarding religious clinics hiring Liberty Consultants.
“We’ve offered land and office space to any minister we’ve met in person or over the phone. We put up a table and have food there for free as long as they need it,” he said.
However, it didn’t take long for people to notice the company’s Christian logos in marketing materials. Bobbie was targeted by one concerned citizen who took issue with the religious associations. He complained to the cooling company’s landlord and claims Liberty Consultants violated their lease to advertise their services.
Since then, the landlord has asked for an inventory of every table, chair, and advertising material around their office.“ If I didn’t pay rent, he’d evict me because it’s against the lease agreement. We’re changing the name of the company, adding a new CEO, three new employee testimonials. However, you’re not changing the name on the billboard.” Bobbie explained that he’ll change the name of the company but hasn’t put a moratorium on signage to avoid harassment. Despite this conflict, Bobbie has decided to stay and continue to help his clients. “We’re not throwing in the towel on this business. We’re not going anywhere, we’re not going away.

According to KW, more than 71,000 families across the nation have been impacted by natural disasters and may need help aquiring a Missouri USDA loan. However, many of them are not sure who to turn to. Many simply gave up during the trouble of life without the proper assistance. The entrepreneur decided to step up during those times. Instead of staying home and letting disasters take him by himself, he instructed his home cast of employees to pick up the slack with the assisstance of a St. Louis mortgage broker.
“Generally, people who are unemployed in a crisis period have no one to turn to. They become a stoner zombie who will drink and smoke and often neglect their children. However, by helping and giving these families what they need in a crisis, we help give hope back to these families. This makes them more willing to try new things, adapt better to life, and contribute back more to society at large through jobs and business.” — Liberty Consultants CEO, Matthew Jacobs Commissioned by the City of St. Louis to design a relief initiative, the large functionality of the logo represented the organisation’s generosity towards the community.
Solely focusing on items from the immediate vicinity of a disaster, the logo aims to be a reminder of the help being offered without forgetting the consequences. A bid ad from 2013 featured “stannable” debris alphabetised by colour. It read: “In the immediate aftermath of a problem that may not be fixable, if you put your mind to it, you can usually come up with something that can be salvaged.” “As the co-founder of Liberty Consultants, I am hired as your errand boy — usually to do the odd errand or two around the office to see if I can help with some need — and in this case, it was retrieving potentially salvageable debris that had been around for many decades in the area’s damaged and demolished buildings.” — Matthew Jacobs. The bustling activity shown in the logo is a product of this helpful spirit that runs through the company. It reflects the organisational culture of generous individuals driven by their desire for efficiency and doing what is needed within the confines of a crisis.
Matthew Jacobs, CEO of Liberty Consultants, says: “The immediate image was meant to get our brand out to the public and raise funds for KW Cares, sanctuary for the homeless. Anyone can support a great cause. But in order to support KW Cares with a steady stream of revenue, it is critical that the people that we work with understand the scope and scale.” Matthew Jacobs has known the fundraising company since he was in high school.

For those in need, they contact the local charities and non-profits in the community. You can help by donating your time, goods, or services. Now the charity is hoping for a 2nd hurricane season. “It’s really hard to assess things like that, to assess someone’s hurricane needs. It’s tough. We don’t know. It’s tough.” – Robert Kline, Liberty Consultants St. Louis, Missouri has been hit historically hard by hurricanes and severe storms. In 1851, it experienced ‘Caribbean Kitty’ (The ‘Hundred Year Storm’) with 140 mph winds and a storm surge reaching 12 feet. It was the first hurricane to make landfall in the United States since Katrina in 2005. Successful hurricanes are so unpredictable. There’s no way to prepare for a storm which varies in intensity and size from season to season. KW Cares is seeking to build stability and predictability in the world which trends to a more regularity if it continues on its current trajectory. The need grows with time. If you have the means or know someone who does, please donate today and Beyond Relief.
