Everything We Can Expect From the Canadian Gaming Summit

The Canadian Gaming Summit is an annual exhibition and conference event for the iGaming industry, which sees some of the biggest names from the online casino and sports betting industries in attendance from both Canada and around the world.

The upcoming Canadian Gaming Summit (or CGS, for short) is scheduled to take place between June 13th and 15th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. On this page, we will take a look at some of the things we can expect from this year’s event.

What Is the Canadian Gaming Summit, and What to Expect This Year?

The Canadian Gaming Summit (CSG) is the most notable yearly conference and exhibition for the iGaming industry (which covers any form of the game that includes socially accepted forms of betting or gambling, such as sports betting, casino gaming, bingo, etc.).

Over 2,000 delegates from the industry are expected to attend the CGS 2023 event at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from June 13th-15th, and it will be the first event brought to you by SBC in collaboration with the Canadian Gaming Association.

There will be a chance to network with other like-minded people from the industry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Exhibitors will be showcasing their latest innovations, and there will be a conference agenda with several notable speakers who will reflect on the ever-changing face of the industry.

Exactly Who Will Be Attending?

Some of the main delegates and operators that will be in attendance this year are the following:

• Regulators & Legislators (the authorities that issue licenses and monitor day-to-day operations of iGaming companies)
• Sportsbooks (online sports betting companies, aka bookmakers)

• iGaming Operators (the owners of licensed sports betting/casino sites)

• Media (local and international broadcasters)
• Associations (people that are associated with various aspects of the iGaming industry)

What about the suppliers and vendors?

The main suppliers and vendors that will be in attendance at CGS 2023 are people from the following sectors: payment solution providers, financial and accounting, sports betting data, platform providers, and game developers.

Others will include security, surveillance & fraud, marketing & content, legal & regulatory, casino equipment, responsible gaming, streaming, geo-validators, and slot/gaming providers.

What’s the CGS 2023 itinerary?

Some things to expect on day one (Tuesday, May 13th) are things like the player protection symposium, pre-registration & networking drinks, and nibbles.

On day two (Wednesday 14th), the Trade Show floor will host the main Canadian Gaming Summit exhibition throughout the day. From 9–10 am, it’s the Global Gaming Women Breakfast Meetup, with Hospitality & Network also happening throughout the day.

You can also check out the main Canadian Gaming Summit Conference up until 5 pm. Then between 3.30 to 4.15 pm, it’s the First Nation Gaming Awards, with further networking expected in the evening from 7.30 pm until around 1:00 am.

On the final day (Thursday 15th), the Canadian Gaming Summit Exhibition will run again from 9 am until 6 pm, with continued Hospitality & Catering throughout the day, a First Nations Gaming Breakfast Meetup from 9 Am until 10 am, with the Canadian Gaming Summit Conference running throughout the day.

The full event pass Group Ticket currently costs C$795 (reduced from C$995), and it’s their most popular ticket. It includes entry to day one’s evening pre-registration networking drinks, as well as entry to day two’s conference tracks and sessions.

The full event pass also includes access to Wednesday’s exhibition, the official networking party, and Thursday’s conference tracks & sessions, and exhibition.
