Tauqeer Imran: Striving in the Face of Adversities

The same case was seen with Tauqeer Imran – a revered Pakistani-American doctor of medicine and surgery, who is also an exceptional entrepreneur who founded Ron Jewelry and Mr. Goldman and Sons.

His career in the professional world began during his college days when he would work as a model and then later on, he started assisting his uncle at his jewellery store – eventually leading him to become the Regional Manager before he decided it was time for him to start his own business.

In 1988, Imran established the ‘Ron Jewelry’, currently operating around five stories in the Southwest Region, including one commercial property. Additionally, he runs a similar kind of business under ‘Mr.Goldman and Sons’. For years now, he has been catering to the needs of his clients in Louisiana and Texas by buying, selling, appraising, and grading jewellery for the local people.

Moreover, Imran also serves as a Member of the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, a Member of the Black Tie Auction, a Corporate Sponsor of Kenner Business Association, including being a Corporate Member of the Kenner Food Bank.

There was a moment in Imran’s life when things took a turn for the worse. In 2017, Imran was diagnosed with 4th stage cancer and it seemed like he did not have long to live. However, he did not let that get him down. During this tough period of undergoing cancer therapy, he continued to run his business, selling those that he needed and keeping the ones that were more important to him.

His relentless spirit paid off in the end. He became a cancer survivor, leading him to start counselling cancer patients in various support groups and hospitals. He also encourages philanthropic efforts, including the American Cancer Society.

Naturally, his efforts have been unloaded by the public on a large scale, allowing him to become a recipient of a number of awards. Some of these awards include, Personality of the Year award within the Jewelry Industry. Moreover, his various other philanthropic actions involve donating food and various other essentials to flood victims in Pakistan, providing them with free medicine, and setting up tents in rural areas of Pakistan. In addition to that Imran has also been actively involved in aiding diverse organisations centred around early childhood education.
