PJM Sounds the Alarm: Capacity Markets Must Be Redesigned for Grid 2.0
PJM Interconnection, the largest power grid operator in the United States, is warning that traditional capacity markets are no longer adequate to handle the explosive growth in electricity demand driven by AI data centers, electric vehicles, and widespread electrification.
