The line of rational logic is about to be crossed. What will occur once this line is crossed will be a COLLECTIVE SUICIDE. This kind of social phenomena has happen in many occasions in the past, in which the best known to us was the Jonestown massacre in Guyana which occur on November 18, 1978. 900 members of the sect of Jim Jones “took the cool-aid”. Many did not want to drink the poison, but they did take it anyway for several reasons: One, was because of a few guards prevented escape, something which could have been dismissed, since there was jungle and savanna all around to hide. Second, they had been brainwashed by the guru to the point of preferring death rather that to disappoint or betray him. Third, the sect members had become “credit hostages” since they had given all their belongings to the sect, and therefore, “had nowhere to go”. Lastly, there was a “urgency to act” because the Congressman Leo Ryan had been shot to death.
Also Jim Jones had been previously lauded by President Jimmy Carter. Here is why the collective suicide of Jonestown, is about to reproduce world-wide.
