Just last week it was revealed that Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Cindy Barshop and Alex McCord would not be returning for the next season of Real Housewives of NYC and now, three new crazies are being added to the cast!
Carole Radziwell (center): Former ABC producer, related to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis through her marriage to Anthony Radziwell who died of cancer in 1999, wrote a best-selling memoir called What Remains (see an interview here), and friend of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy before her death.
Heather Thompson (left): Fashion designer, mom of two, owns a shapewear line called Yummie Tummie which is sold in 2,000 stores and was featured on Oprah as one of her “Favorite Things”. (Ha! Jill would have gone bananas! Too bad she’s gone…….)
Aviva Drescher (right): Wife of a NYC broker Ried Drescher, philanthropist, mom of three.
Apparently, Heather and Aviva have met the surviving NYC cast members before but Carole has not. Oh, she’s in for a treat.
Why these women would agree to appear on a show with LuAnn, Ramona and Sonja I really don’t know. They must be insane which means we’re in for one fabulous season! Hurray!
