NTDTV: The Origin of the Coronavirus
Scientists haven’t yet identified the source of #coronavirus. Some say it could come from bats. There’s also a theory that it was artificially created in a Chinese lab. The lab in question is in charge of studying some of the world’s most dangerous viruses.
Many media outlets have reported that the first cases of #coronavirus in China originated from a market in Wuhan. It’s believed to be the starting point of the outbreak.
But how did the virus jump from infecting animals to humans?
According to the medical journal Lancet, the first coronavirus patient wasn’t in contact with other infected people who reportedly visited the market.
There are suspicions that bats were the first carrier of the virus before it was transmitted to humans. But no bats are sold in #Wuhan’s market.
There’s also another theory.
Some say the virus might have been leaked from a level 4 biosafety laboratory, just 12 miles from the market.
The so-called ‘P4′ laboratory studies the most dangerous virus in the world, including Ebola, SARS, and the Coronavirus.
This kind of Laboratory is supposed to practice advanced protective measures.
This theory about the potential origin of the Coronavirus also has roots in France. French researchers helped the Chinese regime to build the laboratory in Wuhan, as part of ongoing cooperation since 2001.
Former Military attaché Daniel Schaeffer visited the laboratory in early 2000.
I really felt how important it is to be cautious with this kind of laboratory, to avoid any leaks, and have drastic protection measures. Today I’m worried that media reports suspected failures in this laboratory.
French company Technip was originally in charge of building the lab’s infrastructure. But
China dismissed them and instead opted to have a Chinese company build the P4.
[This was a mistake. The French Technip company is particularly competent in the construction industry. For some reason, maybe pride, China gave up the contract and assigned a Chinese company instead. So if there isn't any quality control, obviously it is possible that there were faults, leaks, problems.
Under the socialist government of President François Hollande, the Lab was eventually built in 2017.
According to an investigative report from media Challenges, a source inside intelligence services said the Laboratory presented "Middle Age containment conditions", meanwhile a part of the French administration opposed this Lab.
But no one knows about the conditions of security of the Lab.
There isn't any report of security measures taken by Chinese authorities inside the Lab. ]

Possibly between 2 to 14 days, allowing the illness to go undetected.
4. How much have infected people traveled?
The virus spread quickly because it started in a transportation hub.
5. How effective will the response be?
The W.H.O. has praised China’s efforts, but critics fear lockdown measures may not be enough.
6. How long will it take to develop a vaccine?
A vaccine is still a year away — at minimum.
While the virus is a serious public health concern,…… the risk to most people outside China …..remains very low,(YAWN)

The scale of an outbreak depends on how quickly and easily a virus is transmitted from person to person. While research has just begun, scientists have estimated that each person with the new coronavirus could infect somewhere between 1.5 and 3.5 people without effective containment measures.
That would make the virus roughly as contagious as SARS, …….another coronavirus that circulated in China in 2003
and was contained after
