Destroying a nation’s economy is not a new strategy as a prelude to invasion and/or takeover. Limiting a nation’s supply chain has been a strategy since the beginning of man conquering man. The US allowed itself to become too dependent on foreign trade which should have never happened since for the most part the US is one of the few nations which could be almost completely independent because it has the potential to produce whatever it needs. Our government has allowed this to happen and on many fronts has even promoted it through the regulatory commissions that discourage domestic businesses and it may ultimately be the nations undoing.
Before all this, Truck Driver shortages have been a problem for decades, in past 10 yrs, shortages have increased numerously. My hubby has been a driver for 36 yrs, still drives, and has talked about shortages for over 20 yrs. It’s been a long time issue with ALL Licensed Professional jobs…Skill Trade has been dying off.
