Imam Muhammad Musri’s Lie

Taqiyya: An acceptable doctrine within the teaching and practice of Islam to deceive and lie if this advances Islam’s cause, which is to be seen as a peaceful, tolerant religion while growing in political power to be able to dominate the world.

There are few in the world who do not remember that day. The Korans were to be burned on 9/11. Imam Musri had met with Terry Jones to try to persuade him not to carry out his plan. Jones had, weeks before the event, sent the Park 51 Cordoba Initiative leader, Imam Feisal, a request. If they would move the proposed mosque near Ground Zero further away from that location, out of respect for the American people and the families of the victims of the 9/11 attacks, he would consider not burning the Korans.

On September 9th, Imam Musri met with Terry Jones away from the media and stated that the mosque would be moved. Jones went out to the press and repeated these words, with Imam Musri standing next to him, in agreement. The Burn was canceled, but the Imam then claimed he did not make those promises.

The first half of the audio message supports the fact that we never contacted Imam Musri.  He contacted us concerning the 9/11 event.

The last half of the audio message is where his lie is revealed concerning the meeting that had been purposedly arranged with Imam Feisal in New York to discuss his willingness to move the Ground Zero mosque to a non-controversial location.

Transcription of the audio segment:

Musri:  I told the media out there exactly what my plan is. I told them I’m gonna go in. This is what I’m gonna offer the Pastor, one for one exchange, OK?

Jones: m’hmm…

Musri: And I have secured a commitment for a meeting in New York with the Imam. So lets…

Jones: When is that meeting supposed to take place?

Musri: When are you ready? Do you want it on Saturday? Do you want it next week? Do you want it tomorrow?

Jones: Uhmm…

Musri: I can arrange it any time you are available.

Jones: Mm’hmm. OK, good. Let us think about it. Uhmm, let me get your, uhmm… (phone rings)

Musri: Pastor, this is your chance in history.

Jones: Let me get your, uhmm, your message straight. Your message is you talked to the Imam, and, uh, and he is willing to, uh…

Musri: He is willing to relocate

Jones: the mosque

Musri: …the mosque from ground zero. OK? To an alternative location that is not controversial at all, away from ground zero. OK?

Jones: He is willing to do that?

Musri: Yes

Jones: and he is willing to… then I would fly up there and meet with him.

Musri’s assistant: You and the Imam would go…

Jones: right…

Musri: meet together. He is conditioning that on us, what we are doing

Jones: Of course, obviously…

On March 20th, 2011, we staged a trial of the Koran, found it quilty of crimes against humanity, and burned a copy at the close of the event.

Our response to the events in Afghanistan last month:

“We, at Stand Up America Now want to express our support for the U.S. military’s action in the burning of the Korans.  The Koran is a book void of human and civil rights.  It is a book that promotes the murdering of non-Muslims and anyone who would speak out to criticize Islam.  

The burning of Korans is an appropriate action for a book of this nature.” February 21, 2012
