The Time of Testing is Here

Much has happened worldwide in the last one to two weeks.  A person who is asleep will become aware and shocked when all chaos breaks loose.  He or she will not be able to fathom of the level of evil that is present in this world that has been here since the beginning of time 6,000 years ago.  After all, the Bible says that a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like a day (2 Peter 3:8).  Adam and Eve when they sinned in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 3 are also significant as well as Nimrod (Genesis 10).  These are two examples of many that show how everything is coming to fruition in these last days.

Do any of you remember the article I wrote entitled, “Christians Under Attack,” or “Spiritual Warfare is REAL” as well as “The Time of Testing is Near.”  What did these all have in common?  The most basic answer is that we are living in the end times, and I would concur with that analysis; however, what is another theme?  One can conclude that the war against us saints is on….This is what the Great Tribulation is about, which is the annihilation of us Jews and Christians who believe that Jesus Christ as Lord.  I might add that anyone who does not conform to the New World Order those individuals will also face death.

Jesus said this would happen, but we also have examples in the Old Testament too.  Here is what God’s Word says as additional evidence for those skeptics out there.  Daniel 7: 21-22 (NIV) says, “As I watched, this horn was waging war against the holy people and defeating them, until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the holy people of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.”  Daniel 7:25 (NIV) states, “He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.”

Matthew 24:9 (NIV), “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.” 

Mark 13:9-13 (NIV) says, “You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them.  And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.  Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.  Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.  Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” 

Luke 21:12-19 (NIV) states, “But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you.  They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name.  And so you will bear testimony to me.  But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.  For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.  You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death.  Everyone will hate you because of me.  But not a hair of your head will perish.  Stand firm, and you will win life.”

Revelation 6:9-11 (NIV), John wrote, “When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.  They called out in a loud voice, ‘How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?’  Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.”

Revelation 13:7 (NIV), “It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.”

Now I’m going to give instances of what is going on in our world today, particularly within America.  One, the Army is being trained that anyone who is a Christian is a number one threat.  In fact, there are two articles that indicate that this is the case.  Two, Colorado is demonizing Christians, and I’m sure many states will follow suit soon as it becomes perilous with World War III becoming hot along with worldwide economic collapse in order for the new pope who is the Antichrist/False prophet to rule the world.  Three, if a person goes in the chat room on any given radio show, one will face persecution.  This has been the case for many others and me. 

Here is a reality check people; he is Satan in the flesh, and it is the revived Roman Empire that is taking place today.  I even wrote a couple of articles about this, “Covenant is Broken” and “Awake Versus Asleep.”  The line is being drawn like none other on who is for Jesus and against Him.  Which will you choose?  I do not desire for you eternal damnation, but I hope you will choose eternal life where there really truly is peace with the Lord reigning forever.  On this earth, you will not have peace, but with the Savior of the World, you really will.  Isn’t that what you long for before it hits the fan soon?  I urge you now to repent, confess of your sins, and to accept Jesus as Lord of your life (Acts 2:38; 3:19; 4:12).

As for the Bride of Christ that is awake to what is going on in the world today, I want to encourage you to stay focused on Jesus like none other.  Very soon, you will see all of history in front of you.  Please do not fear but have faith to overcome.  You have Jesus in your life, and you will do powerful things for Him (Acts).  “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight,” Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV).  1 Thessalonians 5:15-18 (NIV), Paul wrote, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”  Matthew 5:11-12 says, “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.  Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”  Please remember that God is in control, and that He loves you very much (John 3:16-17; Romans 8; 12; Hebrews 11-12).
