20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

It is very simple to be saved. Dear Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner, deserving of Hell. Please forgive me of my sins and take me to Heaven when I die. I now believe upon You alone, apart from all self-righteous works and religion, as my personal Savior. Thank you. Amen.
Just take God at His word and claim His salvation by faith. Believe, and you will be saved. No church, no lodge, no good works can save you. Remember, God does the saving. All of it!
God’s simple plan of salvation is: You are a sinner. Therefore, unless you believe on Jesus Who died in your place, you will spend eternity in Hell. If you believe on Him as your crucified, buried, and risen Savior, you receive forgiveness for all of your sins and His gift of eternal salvation by faith.
Christ died for your sins. You are a sinner by nature and by choice. Jesus took your sins and charged them to His own record. He went to the cross and paid the penalty for your sins. He says if you’re willing to receive Him in faith; He will transfer His payment to your debt, and His righteousness to your sins. He will impute to you His goodness, and impute to His own record your sin; if you in faith will trust Him as your Savior.

That does sound simple! That is all there is to it???? Amy help me our here, I have read all of the Words of Jesus Christ and what I find is not that simple.
For instance: Here are a few scriptures that make it just a little harder.
Matthew 7: 21 – 23
21 “Not everyone that saith unto me Lord, Lord shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in Heaven:
22 “Many will say to Me “in that day” Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy Name? And in thy Name, have we not cast out devils? And in thy Name, done many wonderful works?
23 “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from Me ye that work iniquity.
Christ is clear: just professing to love Him and put Him in your heart is worthless unless you DO the WILL of God the Father. Do you know what the Father’s Will is??? DO is an action word.
Luke 6: 46
46 “And why call ye Me, Lord, Lord and do not the things I say”
Christ wants you to do what you are commanded to do.
Luke 13: 3
3 “I tell you, Nay, but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish”
Amy notice Christ says unless you repent you will perish. I did not read of repentance in your comment?

14 “Blessed are they that do His Commandments and that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city.”
Amy, who ever is telling you these lies walk away from, Jesus Christ in HIS WORD tell you and me He wants action — just saying I believe and accept Christ is a “statement” and not an action.
Christ wants you to live by every WORD of God, living by the Word of God is righteous action. Many are CALLED and few are chosen.
Anyone can recite the words. Does not save them. Must be done with heart and soul. Salvation does not come with strings. True Salvation can not be lost. FAKERS god does not recognize as saved. Works do not get one to heaven.

so the words of the Savior are worthless?? Amy I will make this statement once more, run from who ever is teaching you these lies.
Amy read the parable Christ gave of the 10 virgins, the virgins represent The Church of God the Ecclesia of God. At this minute God’s Church is 100% asleep and only half will awake and the other half Christ locks out and states I never knew you. These are virgins! They have not spiritually fornicated with the many false christian churches of this world.
Going door to door handing out your WATCHTOWER magazine will not save you. Jesus will.
