1: Find out if your church is a 501c3
2: If it is, ask for change and if there is NONE then LEAVE
The Bible is clear that churches in the New Testament:
* met in homes and were like family
* didn’t have names like ‘First Baptist Church of …”
* had multiple pastors/elders
* had pastors/elders that worked secular jobs to support their families and those in need
* didn’t collect tithes to support their Pastor but collected free-will offerings to support the weak, the poor, the needy
The vast majority of today’s churches look like and are patterned very differently to the model left in the New Testament.
