Why Is Obama Portrayed As The Antichrist By So Many?

Good question. Barack Obama doesn’t fit as the Antichrist. Hitler was more a prototype for the Antichrist, charismatic, into occult things, hypnotic in his forceful oratory, and the Antichrist will be moreso, the Bible stating he will conquer, at first, by peace: people will just “give it up” for him. Whatever charisma and goodwill Barack Obama had was a flash in the pan around his first election. Can anybody see him uniting the world now, his swelling, but empty words even being paid attention to anymore? The Antichrist will come from somewhere out of the old Roman empire, of which America does not qualify (Daniel 9:26). When the honeymoon is over, the Antichrist will also be a fierce warrior and conqueror, will even have a strange god he honors called the “God of forces” (Daniel 11:36). Does anybody see Barack Obama as a fierce, conquering warrior? (I’ve sometimes mused the “God of forces” sounds a little like Allah, and the old Roman empire had its Eastern leg, which is now Muslim territory. But this is problematic speculation in other ways.) Then Antichrist will somehow have credibility in the Middle East to broker a covenant involving Israel, which must be a peace treaty of some sort, so he will have credibility with Israel and Israel’s enemies (Daniel 9:27). The Antichrist, for a time, will unite the entire world. Does any of this actually fit Barack Obama, who many around the world are wondering what he can do, anymore, but golf a lot? Note that Obama’s speeches, in the U.S. and overseas, are being received as if a joke anymore, the enthusiastic crowds gone. I would also note that the U.S. is much hated in most of the world these days, this not the material that can bring people together: there are many those who would do the opposite of the wishes of the U.S. just for the hell of it, would never follow any U.S. lead. This is just my opinion, but I’ve long believed the Antichrist will be some charismatic Hitler on steroids, somebody considered neutral and Messianic to Jews and Muslims, somebody not of a known, traditional religious persuasion that can be accepted by various religions, and somebody from a smaller nation not in the political frying pan of the world to be tainted by standing politics and resentments. It’s also difficult to see a Christian, Jew or Muslim able to unite such as the Middle East, like some powerful and mysterious Messianic figure out of nowhere could, with even some new religion to present that, such as, gloms all religions together, but under him. Note he has a false prophet, promoting some religious slop in Revelatioin 13, causing people to worship the Antichrist, characterized as having “two horns of a lamb” but really is a dragon, a Catholic leader or some other “Christian” leader promoting the Antichrist? Catholicism does have a history of doing all sorts of mayhem of the devil and perverting gospel truths for gain, is a “church” soaked in evil and blood. And the current Pope is promoting ecumenicism with Islam, the Catholics now stating the apostasy there are other ways to salvation than Jesus Christ to placate false religions. This is a step away from promoting a false, ecumenical world religion and the Antichrist, and it’s very hard to see the Antichrist being able to unite, hoodwink the world for a time, with Catholic opposition, though the false prophet could be some other religious leader and the Catholics silent on the Antichrist. (Many have mistaken notions of the whore and Babylon of Revelation 17-18, pinning these things on the Vatican.) But bottom line is that nobody knows who the Antichrist is until he’s revealed to the world, this tied to the rapture of the church (2 Thessalonians 2:7-8). So, if you know who the Antichrist is, you have a real problem on the way, the Tribulation. Accept Jesus Christ now, while you can, the only important point of any such discussion!

An after thought, it’s really very wrong to state anybody is the Antichrist without knowing. None of these claims over the years of this or that person being the Antichrist have been true, and the Bible states he will only be revealed in his time. It’s the most heinous form of slander to falsely accuse anybody of being, in essence, the devil incarnate, to foolishly say anybody is the worst person who has ever walked the face of the earth, without being damned sure. God will not bold blameless any false accuser, who is behaving exactly as the devil. Devil even means “slanderer.” I wouldn’t throw around such accusations lightly, wouldn’t throw them around at all.

As if calling your president an anti-christ, related to some random number (666), being gay, his wife being a man, could be enough crap to make him lose his job.
