LOL. Like any self respecting scientist would go anywhere near the bible, let alone confirm it. The video is pointing out our current inability to colonise eg, Mars, but it’s only a question of time before we engineer our problems away, eg shielding from radiation and artificial gravity. Same as it’s only been a decade between discovering stem cells, for which we are now curing the blind with it. It won’t be long before we are curing people who cant walk via spinal injuries, something that thousands of years worth of praying to imaginary beings hasn’t had any effect on them at all, and never will because it’s fiction.

I way past reading bland children’s fairy story fiction. I prefer fiction with more imagination and sophistication, or at least a few clever twists.
Perhaps you’re unaware how educated people see the bible as complete fiction, and anything subsequently written or claimed about it is nothing more than fan fiction. This is completely wrong. Early human evidence proves man worshipped the female aspect as the life giver, mother earth goddess figurines are everywhere to be found. . Not the fairly recent first example of monotheism with the single male god of Amenhotep IV, c1.300 BCE, or the copy cat political party Pharisees version (Judaism), invented post 70 CE. Early on they were definitely not worshipping lesser or baser objects, you can’t get more baser than the much later male domination aspect, ‘do as I dictate, or else’.
Credit to the author though, during that era they hadn’t discovered much about early man, they were still under the misconception that modern humans were recent. Today we have evidence proving modern humans have existed for at least 100’000 years. But, good article for the era, the early 18th century.
