54,559,615 Abortions Subsidized by YOUR Tax Dollars!

Today is the grim anniversary of the lawless Roe Vs. Wade Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion. Since 1973 some conservatively estimate 54,559,615 babies have been killed. This ought to break our hearts and make our blood boil with a righteous anger.

What was the “crime” of the vast majority of these babies? They are guilty of being an inconvenience to those who want sex without consequences. The sexual revolution is drenched in innocent blood that cries out for justice.

Rest assured God will hear and answer their plea. Justice will be served and all those who participate in abortion will face their Holy Creator and answer for their complicity and silence. I pray all who are involved in this wholesale infanticide will repent and flee to Christ and find his forgiveness. But, we must not consign justice only to the hereafter.

Thankfully hundreds of thousands will march for life in Washington D.C. to call attention to this travesty. Over the years we’ve seen a significant shift in public opinion. Now the majority of Americans identify as pro-life and the other side is forced to hide behind vague euphemisms like “reproductive rights.” Nevertheless, the slaughter continues.

What can we do? Keep reading for an exciting way to make a difference!

Political Delusions

Even as Americans rally for life, politicians keep playing their games. They run for office declaring they are pro-life, but somehow never seem to do what needs to be done to save babies and protect women. A political solution looks very unlikely.

Today the Washington Post reported that “House Republican leaders abruptly dropped plans late Wednesday to vote on an anti-abortion bill amid a revolt by female GOP lawmakers concerned that the legislation’s restrictive language would once again spoil the party’s chances of broadening its appeal to women and younger voters. In recent days, as many as two dozen Republicans had raised concerns with the ‘Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act’ that would ban abortions after the 20th week of a pregnancy. Sponsors said that exceptions would be allowed for a woman who is raped, but she could only get the abortion after reporting the rape to law enforcement.” They refuse to vote on even incremental steps to save babies and women from abortion.

Not only will politicians not act, they force you to pay for abortion! According to Americans United for Life, during the six years of the Obama Administration, Planned Parenthood, the nations largest abortion provider, has reported, “over 510 MILLION DOLLARS IN PROFIT. At the same time, Planned Parenthood has taken in 3 BILLION tax dollars… [M]ore than 40 percent of its overall support comes from taxpayers.”

In an era of trillion dollar deficits, Congress, who constitutionally controls our nation’s purse strings, has gone along with President Obama to fund Planned Parenthood with BILLIONS of our tax dollars. One out of every three abortions in America is performed by this wicked organization.

Planned Parenthood has been exposed for their illicit and illegal activities. They were caught on video prompting girls how to lie in order to cover up statutory rape. One Planned Parenthood was recently closed because they were selling controlled substances out the back door. Are we surprised? If they are willing to kill, certainly they are capable of lying and other criminal acts. So why are you and I funding Planned Parenthood with our tax dollars?

Now’s the time to finish the job!

We can’t wait for compromising politicians to get their act together. There is good news. In spite of Congress and Obama, Operation Rescue has documented the closure of 155 abortion facilities in the past two years. Today, there are just 549 surgical abortion clinics in the U.S., compared to 2,176 in 1991. Currently, there are 187 clinics that offer abortion by medication only, down from a high of 196 in 2012.
