Civil Rights Commissioner Defames Christians

As we’ve long predicted, the slippery slope of defamation leading to discrimination is on full display in America. For example, Diann Rice, of the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, said Jack Phillips, of Masterpiece Cake shop, who refuses to make wedding cakes for faux homosexual weddings, is morally equivalent to Nazis or slaveholders. The commission urged action against Phillips.

“Freedom of religion and religion has been used to justify all kinds of discrimination throughout history,” said Rice, “whether it be slavery, whether it be the Holocaust… we can list hundreds of situations where freedom of religion has been used to justify discrimination. And to me it is one of the most despicable pieces of rhetoric that people can use to – to use their religion to hurt others.”

This is blatant religious hostility towards Christians, the kind of which the civil rights commission is supposed to oppose. This bias ought to disqualify Rice from serving on the commission.

“Because we have violated commonsense and the laws of nature and replaced it with the religion of humanism,” said Dr. Gary Cass, “now we have to punish the faithful Christian who refuses to participate in sham, homosexual marriages. Religious liberty, not sexual anarchy, is guaranteed by the First Amendment. Are homosexual’s guilty conscience so desperate for approval they must make the state compel everybody to support their sin?”

Contact the Colorado Civil Rights Commission and demand that Diann Rice resign because of her anti-Christian bigotry.
