The Lord Will Return
The Bible is very clear that The Lord Jesus will be returning to this earth and in fact we are commanded to watch for and be constantly alert to this fact. As the world increasingly spins out of control it is important to remember what God’s Word says about our attitude. First, we must without any reservation believe that Christ will come for us as He promised. Next we look to Scripture for our direct instructions as we wait for our Lord to come for us. We have the blessed assurance that what the Bible tells us will come to pass and we must follow its instructions to achieve its blessings. Therefore,

When we celebrate our Lord’s first arrival at Christmas it is important that we be mindful of this fact He told His inner circle of apostles, Peter, James, John and Andrew that he would be back. While they was speaking to Him they asked: “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age”(Matthew 24:3). Jesus replied:
Matthew 24:29-31
29“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heavenwith power and great glory 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other (ESV, underlining added).
Jesus is talking about the Tribulation (Revelation) after which He will return (Revelation) to establish His Kingdom on this earth for a thousand years (Revelation 6:1-19:10-16; 20:4-6). In the Matthew passage above it clearly says that all the people on the earth “will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven”. He will come exactly as He left, visible on clouds. The gathering of “his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other”is a reference to the re-gathering of the nation Israel not the Church. The Old Testament Jewish prophets spoke frequently about a re-gathering of the nation Israel from two locations, Heaven and earth (Isaiah 27:12-13, Deuteronomy 30:4). The Jews who are re-gathered from the earth (“four winds”) will be living in Israel. Those “from one end of heaven to the other” will be resurrected Old Testament saints. Acts chapter one describes the Lord leaving after His resurrection and the angels told the apostles when Jesus left He will come back visibly and bodily from heaven:

9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven (KJV).
The book of Revelation describes His return right after the Tribulation:

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS (KJV).

Dear Greeks who do not understand the Bible. Jesus was born in the Fall in September either on the Day of he Trumpet or on the first Annual Sabbath of Feast of Tabernacles in 3 BCE. He follows His calendar which is Leviticus 23 which is tied to Lev. 25 (49th Shemitah year and Jubilee) which are the contract He has to fill. These are tied to Genesis 1:14 (Prophecy) and Isa 61:1-2.

Now about the Sabbaths and how they are tied to Yeshua/Jesus. Matthew, Mark, Luke says the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath. That means to me that everything occurring with Yeshua will occur on a Sabbath.
Yeshua was conceived in 4 BC at Chanukkah (Festival of Lights and Feast of Dedication) on a Sabbath either on Dec. 15th or the 22nd. Born in the Fall on either Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpet) or on the first Annual Sabbath of Feast of Tabernacles in 3 BCE. Messianics teach Feast of Tabernacles. He was circumcised on the 8th day (A new beginning) on the Second Annual Sabbath. He began His ministry in 27 CE and baptized either in January (Michael Rood Chronological Gospels) or Day of Atonement (Biblical Astronomy article). Entered Jerusalem on a donkey in 29 CE (Shemitah year) on Abib 10 (Saturday), Month 1. Died on Passover (not a Sabbath) on Wednesday (4th day and 4th candle called the Christ candle or servant candle of the Menorah (7 candles)) (each candle represents a day and 1000 years). Buried on Thursday (Wednesday night by the time the first three stars came out which starts a new day). Possibly the men came out of the tomb when the stars had appeared and closed the tomb after the stars came out. This Day was the Feast of Unleavened Bread Annual Sabbath. Rose 72 hours later at the beginning of the Feast of First Fruits. Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) is the Messianic Kingdom at the Second Coming.

No one knows the day or the hour (Matthew 24:36) Day of Trumpet (Lev. 23:24ff) in verse 24:31. It can also refer to v. 35 because of the word “that” in verse 36 Heaven and earth shall pass away but of that day and hour no man knows. According to Torahcalendar.com that day is in the 7th month of 3015 on the first sliver of the new moon which is called Rosh Hashanah. The third view is that it refers to Day of Atonement because it is one day and one hour long.
