Catholic University investigated for not supporting Islam?

In a strange display of the new political correct game, Catholic University in Washington D.C. is now under investigation by the city for offending Muslims with too many Catholic religious symbols.

The University has been kind to allow non-Catholic students attend its university, but has maintained their Catholic emphasis throughout the school. Symbols of the Catholic faith are placed throughout the campus, which is now the subject of a potential lawsuit against the school.

A Law Professor from George Washington University has filed a complaint with the Office of Human Rights against Catholic University. No Muslim students at Catholic University have actually joined the complaint. Still, the complaint alleges that the school has not provided necessary accommodations to the Muslims students, including a Muslim prayer room free of “offensive” Catholic imagery.

Now, since a religious university has shown tolerance to people of other faiths by allowing them to attend the school they must fit every religious practice into their institution? That seems to be the dangerous reasoning behind the complaint.

TAKE ACTION:

Contact the Washington D.C. Office of Human Rights and tell them to drop the bullying investigation into Catholic University and allow the school to exercise their religious liberties.
