Repentance is Impossible Without Taking Responsibility

God loves you and desperately wants to bring you home. He fully disclosed the necessarily non-negotiable conditions that each person must meet, in order for that to happen.

God does not grade on a curve for He is just.  He cannot treat humans differently than He does Satan and the other fallen angels, when we commit the same sins of rebellion and high treason against Him.  In so doing, they threw away everything of beauty and goodness, for they allowed self-pride to blind them to the fact that God is the Creator, they are just (as are we), the created. 

If we refuse to take responsibility for our behavior (sin),

it is impossible to truly repent of it.

In our culture, taking responsibility for our behavior just isn’t done, in fact it is generally not expected nor encouraged as we happily believe the lie, that when something goes wrong it is ALWAYS someone else’s fault.

Today, most of us if we give apology for our behavior at all, squeak out something that sounds remarkably like what comes from a child when they’re caught fighting with a sibling and are told to they must apologize for their behavior. It comes out a whiny sounding “sooorry…” but there is no repentant spirit or meaning behind it. We’re merely parroting words that will apparently get us out of trouble. If we do offer a more sincere sounding apology, it is almost without exception followed with “but, I”. Thereby we are excusing our behavior, rather than owning it. Without true repentance, we cannot be saved.

God’s commandments are given for our protection and we are reaping the consequence of disregarding and rebelling against Him. Imagine what the world could be like if we followed His commands; we would have absolutely no need for jails, courts or militaries. Selfishness and greed to the point of people being willing to harm others, could not exist.

Gods commandments are not “suggestions”,

nor are they subject to human debate or approval.

All hell is breaking loose on the earth and noticeably so in America. Economic collapse is imminent, which experts have warned, will make the 2008 recession and the “great depression” pale by comparison. Heavy military weaponry (tanks, Stryker’s, aircraft, etc.), in numbers which exceed what we have ever deployed in the arena of war, are now positioned all across America. Special Ops troops (including UN, Russian, Chinese, Turkish and others) are jointly participating in “military training exercises” on our soil. Aren’t those the very soldiers that our military would be expected to fight at some point, to maintain our freedom?…

WWIII is at the doorstep and experts have warned that battles will be fought on our soil. America is no longer under the supernatural protection of God, as we were when we as a nation welcomed, obeyed and followed Him.

Judgment has been pronounced by God and severe punishment is about to fall on America, beginning in the apostate church, for we as a nation have turned on Him like a pack of rabid wolves. (Remember the punishment of Sodom and Gomorrah, Babylon and numerous nations and people groups, which entirely ceased to exist.)

The clock is racing to Zero Hour. The full fury of the forces of darkness have been held back from destroying humanity by God, who loves us enough to send warning after warning of the coming destruction. However, the actions of very powerful people, who obey Satan, are even now releasing immense evil, which has been bound for thousands of years.

This release was foretold in prophecy and is of a magnitude, which is truly beyond human comprehension.

If you have thought that things are bad, but assume that they can’t get much worse and that they will again improve, you are greatly deceived.

No one is promised even the next minute, the time for decision and commitment to follow through on that decision is now!

Repent of your sins, dethrone and humble yourself. Make Jesus Christ your ultimate authority, the Lord of your life. This means that you will obey Him in all things, even though it is not convenient, culturally acceptable, or perhaps even safe to do so. Over the years, commitment to Jesus has cost hundreds of millions of people everything, as well it may you. Yet, they remained faithful even unto death, because they knew without a doubt, that to be absent from the body is to be present with God. They were determined that they would not be deterred from joining Jesus for eternity and receiving their promised reward!

They believed the absolute truth of the Word of God as it was written, rather than looking for ways to twist scripture until it seemingly supports living a worldly and sinful lifestyle.

When the Bible was written, “to believe” meant to not only know and confess that Jesus was Messiah, it meant that a person obeyed what Jesus taught is required of anyone who wants to belong to Him.

If just speaking a few words, with no life change were all that is required, Jesus would never have warned that few would obtain salvation, for the way is difficult and the gate is narrow. (i.e. Matthew 7:13-14) Indeed, He would have had no cause to say:

“Not every one that saith unto me Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven.”

Matthew 7:21 KJV

God is God, He has no equal and we are but one of His creations. His ways are far above and greatly more advanced than ours and it is His right to set rules for how we, the created, must live in order to be reconciled to Him.

We scream for our “human rights” while deciding that He who created the very universe, in which we live, is not entitled to exercise His own rights!

We are often not privy to what our Creator is about, but we have to trust that even though we may not understand or particularly like His ways, He is working for the good of those who choose to belong to Him. Jesus promised that while we will go through trials (including the tribulation – see Matthew 24), intense persecution and that many will die for their faith in Him. He further promised that He will not leave us to walk through such times alone. If we follow Him, He will lead us through.

There is a fierce inter dimensional battle raging, which began when God gave dominion over the earth to humankind. That was the equivalent of waiving a cosmic red cape in front of satan, his charges and attacks have not let up since. Satan knows well that his time is almost up and as prophesied in scripture; his wrath and attacks are today dramatically increasing.

God passionately loves people, which He created specifically to be in a relationship with Him. Satan is equally passionate about destroying everything that God loves.

Jesus is already the victor in this age-old war, but satan and his enraged hoards and intend to take as many people away from God as they possibly can. Ultimately, when his time is up, he and all others who have chosen to rebel against God, will suffer eternal unimaginable torment, desolation and loss.

Life is not an episode of “Let’s make a deal”.

Obey Jesus OR Satan. Choose Heaven OR Hell.

“Door number 3″ does not exist.

Love, trust and obey Jesus with every part of your being. Cling to Him so tightly that He cannot take a step without tripping over you as you take your place in His spiritual army, working to further His kingdom!

The coming days are going to bring two things; miracles that will equal those done by the prophets of old and even those done by Jesus when He walked the earth; AND suffering, destruction and death as foretold in Scripture. Jesus taught that it is going to get so bad that if God didn’t step in to stop the carnage, no flesh would survive it. However, for the sake of the Elect, those days will be shortened.
