Let’s say, it’s not been a good day and one of your family members were in an accident of some sort, knocked unconscious, the doctors insisted that the person needed a blood transfusion. What would you do? Would you approve, or disapprove of it?
I’ve been blessed enough to not have the above situation happen to me or a family member…but it seems to be a common occurrence. Performing the research needed for this article brought issues up such as first responders, and why they wear those masks anytime blood is near. Makes sense…because AIDS is not the only known complication when dealing with ‘fresh’ blood contact.
A blood transfusion is generally the process of receiving blood products into one’s circulation intravenously. A blood transfusion is a safe, common procedure in which blood is given to you through an intravenous (IV) line in one of your blood vessels. Blood transfusions are done to replace blood lost during surgery or due to a serious injury.

Pros and cons?
A known relationship between intra-operative blood transfusion and cancer recurrence has been established in colorectal cancer. In lung cancer intra-operative blood transfusion has been associated with earlier recurrence of cancer, worse survival rates and poorer outcomes after lung resection.
Seems that whatever the medical condition the donor person had, ‘transfers’ over to the recipient.
The next issue falls under the category of abuse, much like taking body enhancement/performance drugs.
Blood doping is often used by athletes, drug addicts or military personnel for reasons such as to increase physical stamina, to fake a drug detection test or simply to remain active and alert during the duty-times respectively.
So, there is no doubt many important roles which play into this subject.

Blood is a serious matter.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are outwardly rejecting blood transfusions…and if you think about it…it makes perfect sense. Any JW who accepts it will be shunned for life. It made me think of the Mormons and their strange behaviors. Well, strange to us who live on the outside of their world. Some people would argue that the JW doctrine is not rational because it specifically says, “eat it”…but accepting it in any way, shape or form….our body does ultimately, consume it
Although I don’t agree with their doctrines….this subject has some interesting parameters.

They utilize the three Scriptures noted to validate their doctrines:
Genesis 9:4. God allowed Noah and his family to add animal flesh to their diet after the Flood but commanded them not to eat the blood. God told Noah: “”Only flesh with its soul—its blood—you must not eat.”” This command applies to all mankind from that time on because all are descendants of Noah.
Leviticus 17:14. “”You must not eat the blood of any sort of flesh, because the soul of every sort of flesh is its blood. Anyone eating it will be cut off.”” God viewed the soul, or life, as being in the blood and belonging to him. Although this law was given only to the nation of Israel, it shows how seriously God viewed the law against eating blood.
Acts 15:20. “”Abstain . . . from blood.”” God gave Christians the same command that he had given to Noah. History shows that early Christians refused to consume whole blood or even to use it for medical reasons.
These are some important Scriptures, and as I dive more into the subject, the first thing which came to mind was…Cain and Abel!

10 And he said, “What have you done? the voice of your brother’s blood cries to me from the ground.”
The blood does not stand in a pool, but the earth opens her mouth to receive and to conceal his brother’s blood. There were no police, or any other kind of law enforcement, so Cain must have thought he was invincible. But there is GOD’S Laws.
He must have thought that now oblivion would cover his crime, so that he might go his way as though the deed were never done. It was not so, however, for though that blood was silent in the seared conscience of Cain, it had a voice elsewhere. A mysterious voice went up beyond the skies; it reached the ear of the Invisible, and moved the heart of The Almighty Father, so that breaking through the veil which conceals GOD from man, and GOD revealed himself and spoke to Cain: “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries to me from the ground.”
Then we have the most important event in HISTORY! The blood of Jesus Christ.
No doubt Pilate, who had washed his hands in water, thought that no mischief would come of it. Do you see a theme here? It’s people’s consciousness…and accountability in question! But, let’s continue…
The blood of Abel was not voiceless, and the blood of Jesus was not dumb; it cried so as to be heard amid the thrones of heaven, and blessed be GOD, it spoke for us and not against us. Indeed, the Son of GOD cried, “Father, forgive them,” and it prevailed, and the curse was taken away, and a blessing came upon mankind.
The word ‘sacrifice’ comes to mind. And then it fills my head with questions and astonishment.

This was the first mention of sacrifice to me, but the parallel of Abel’s to that of Jesus Christ, is of course no comparison. But, it must have caused a heavy weight upon GOD’s heart because it plays such an critical role in Genesis! Indeed Abel’s sacrifice mentioned must have been blood, Cain’s offering was bloodless and thus rejected? We don’t really know.
Some suggest that Cain’s offering, and therefore his worship, was rejected because he offered that which came from his own labors, his own works. On the other hand, Abel’s offering and worship was accepted because he offered that which was apart from himself; that is, he offered a substitute in his place. But the offering of Cain was also a substitute.
Clearly, the writer to the Hebrews tells us that Abel offered by faith while Cain did not. Faith was the issue. “The general tenor of Scripture indicates that the superior quality of Abel’s offering derived from the integrity of his heart rather than from the nature of the offering itself…. His act of worship entailed the thoughtful exposure of his self to the living and holy God.” William L. Lane, Hebrews: Word Biblical Commentary, 2 vols. (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1991), 2:334.
Clearly, if GOD had prescribed blood, then Cain’s refusal to offer it was a lack of faith.
Faith offers to GOD what He prescribes. That is, it is GOD-centered. It is sincere. It is from the heart.
All the sacrificial alms of this kind were abolished because of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice…and the significant role for us concerning that of a sacrifice would be our work for the Lord; as important as it is for you to walk with the Lord; the most important thing is your worship of the Lord. Apart from this our work and our walk is meaningless.
Worship—acceptable worship—requires a hierarchy. It seems that the entire purpose of this epistle was to exalt the object of saving faith, the Lord Jesus Christ.

WARS OF BLOOD AND FAITH
But, we have sideline issue at hand. That of Satan and his army of wickedness.
Satan, the evil one, maketh the truth a lie, and giveth to the sons of man, flesh and blood…
We must remember the fallen angels have taught mankind to use blood as a sacrifice, to consume it! Cannibalism is a fool thing to do, but for centuries it took place, and even unto this very day, it remains.
This is another correlation! The mishandling of blood.
The Last Battle is at hand. We do, whether people believe or not, live in the last days.
Many have wondered why GOD didn’t just destroy Satan in the beginning when he rebelled against Him. God could see the final outcome of Satan’s rebellion, but he didn’t destroy Satan because GOD knew that the Angels didn’t get it.
They had never heard a lie before. Satan is called the father of lies because lying had never happened prior to Satan’s’ false accusations against GOD.
If GOD would have destroyed Satan at the onset of Satan’s’ rebellion, the Angels would have believed that Satan may have been correct in his assessment of GOD’S character. Fear would then be the governing reason for serving GOD rather than love. GOD doesn’t want His Kingdom to be run on fear, He wants to be served through love. GOD allowed Satan to exhibit his true form of government and leadership to the whole universe, and as you can see, Satan’s government is in full effect here on planet Earth.
In Revelation 12:13, notice the Bible shows when Satan realized his war was lost and that his fate had been sealed because of Jesus Christ’ crucifixion on the cross. Satan thought that he had defeated GOD when Jesus died at Calvary, but in reality, Satan’s battle had been lost and Satan’s accusations against God had been refuted.
Satan was then “Cast Out” of Heaven for ever and was bound to Earth. Satan turned his wrath upon the Woman, which is the church of Christ or GOD’s people who believe and follow Jesus. Satan is furious at GOD’s people or children, and wants nothing more than to destroy their efforts.
Most people believe that Satan doesn’t want you to accept Jesus because he is in a war with GOD. This is partially true, but the real reason and motivation behind Satan’s desire for you to reject Jesus Christ.

BLOODLESS SINS OR NOT?
Our sins can isolate us from GOD.

13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

This is of course Satan’s kingdom of darkness…with the other being…the Kingdom of Light! These kingdoms are called “Darkness” versus “Light”…
In fact the mere names of the kingdoms light and darkness denote a clear separation of powers. Wherever light exists darkness is not found and wherever darkness exists light is never found to be present. These are just basic natural laws that were created by GOD to teach us how these spiritual realities work. In the natural we can walk into a very dark room and be overwhelmed with the darkness until we turn the light on and then suddenly there is no more darkness. It is just amazing how that works, isn’t it.

1. Satan DOES NOT Want You To Know That He Exists
2. Satan DOES NOT Want You To Know How He Operates
3. Satan DOES NOT Want You To Know That His Time Is Short
4. Satan DOES NOT Want You To Know That You Have Authority Over Him
5. Satan DOES NOT want you to know that he still rules a kingdom and you might be in it.
In Revelation we learn that Satan potentially rules over 1/3 of an innumerable number of angels that appear to follow him
