ISIS Wants To Usher In An Apocalyptic Chaotic Caliphate And Their Long Awaited Mahdi

ISIS looks to usher in the Apocalypse. A recently discovered recruitment document outlines ISIS’ plan to create a war with India. This plan follows the Islamic belief that creating sufficient chaos will bring about their messiah, the Mahdi. ISIS and its supreme leader  is consumed by a Radical Sunni Islamic version of End Times Eschatology 

Graeme Wood author of  ”What ISIS Really Wants” says that  ISIS rejects peace as a matter of principle because “it considers itself a harbinger of—and headline player in—the imminent end of the world.” ISIS believes  that  the enemies of Islam will be destroyed when  ’Isa (Jesus) kills the Dajjal (the Antichrist) to establish ‘Islam and its justice’ over the whole world.

Why is ISIS pushing this apocalyptic fever? Does ISIS truly believe that they will usher in Jesus Christ’s return? The latter days are here.
