Satanic Temple Announces 666 Ritual To Curse Region

A self-proclaimed Satanist and his temple are planning a Satanic ritual over California on 6/6/16 – to correspond with the 666 symbolism of the antichrist.

Members of the Satanic Temple of Los Angeles say they are doing the ritual in a show of support for fellow Satanist Steve Hill, who is seeking a California Senate seat in District 21.

The ritual is apparently happening in the City of Lancaster because Hill has an axe to grind with Mayor R. Rex Parris.

Hill and his Temple take issue with Parris saying the Council on American-Islamic Relations is a terrorist group and that Lancaster is a Christian community. Parris’ statements date back to 2010.

Members of  the Temple told L.A. Weekly they plan to draw a five-point pentagram star across Lancaster using GPS technology. At each point of the pentagram, a ritual will be performed. No details were given on what each ritual entails.

“Using GPS technology we will place the five points of the star so that the Pentagram will encompass your entire city,” organizer Thuc Nguyen told L.A. Weekly. “When all of the points are in place, the Pentagram is completed. Drawing this symbol around your city represents a solemn promise from us, the Satanic Temple of Los Angeles.”

Supporters on Facebook said the 6/6/16 date falls the day before the primary election in California.

“Coincidence? We think not,” the post states.

On Facebook, Hill’s personal page points to a 2009 Los Angeles Times article about the Lancaster mayor that describes him as a tyrant. Critics of Parris said he runs the city like a dictatorship and has zero tolerance for criticism.

“Parris…is an arrogant bully and an unstoppable control freak,” the article states. 

The Satanists claim their ritual is being done to promote liberty and freedom, and give a voice to people who are oppressed. Various mainstream media articles about Hill’s senate bid discuss his beliefs as if they are completely benign. And they do it despite the fact that the number ’666′ is a universal symbol of the ultimate evil.

Attempting to curse a region through witchcraft is not freedom; it’s extreme oppression. Black magic associated with Satanism sometimes uses pentagram symbolism to conjure up demons and send curses.

Here’s how it works
John Ramirez, who identifies himself as a Christian and ex-Satanist, explains in a YouTube documentary how cursing a region works.

Satanists conjure high-level demons to curse and control various cities and regions around the world said Ramirez, an author, speaker, and founder of John Ramirez Ministries. His website is johnramirez.org.

During his involvement in the upper echelon of the occult world, Ramirez acquired a deep hatred of Christians. As a Satanist, he placed curses on people to hurt them or kill them.

Using witchcraft, Ramirez said he made people lose their minds or get diseases out of nowhere.  He claims to have cursed people with leprosy, cancer, miscarriages, spirits of bipolar and schizophrenia, and suicidal spirits.

Anything not covered by the blood of Jesus was an easy target to bring down, he said. But people who had a true relationship with Jesus Chris could not be destroyed by witchcraft.

A spell to kill someone through witchcraft could command a fee of $10,000, said Ramirez. But he once offered to kill a woman for free simply because she was a Christian.  The spell didn’t work, though, because she was protected by God, Ramirez said.

As he worked his way up through the kingdom of darkness, Ramirez had direct dealings with the devil. He said he was also given dominion over principalities that he sent out to curse and preside over various regions.

“I would move principalities from a region to control demons on the ground, to operate to cut down the growth of the church, and cut down the opportunity for people to get saved,” said Ramirez.

“I would go to demon church and every year we would have a meeting – a secret meeting – all of the high witches and warlocks would have this meeting to find out what principality we were going to usher out and bring in to run the region.”

Ramirez claims to have dealt with demons and principalities that presided over Haiti, Miami, Africa, and New York City.

People who are into the occult often hold prestigious positions in their community, according to Ramirez.

“The ring of the people I was with, that was in this demonic world -  doctors, lawyers, principals, judges, police officers -  they were all into witchcraft, even singers today that are very well-known,” he said.

In his bid for the senate, Hill was interviewed by Time Magazine. During the interview, Hill downplays his involvement in the occult, saying:  “I’m a Satanist as far as trying to get people to understand that I don’t believe in the devil any more than I believe in God,” he said. “All of it is stupid. But if I have to tell people I’m the devil to get them to listen, then, OK, I’m the devil.”

According to the biography on Hill’s website, he served in the Marine Corps for five years, earning the rank of Sergeant E-5. After relocating to Los Angeles, he worked in the aerospace industry for nearly a decade. He went on to work in in maximum security prisons for the California Department of Corrections and then opened a real estate appraisal business.

On his website, Hill pledges to “honor his oath to protect the nation, the constitution, and the people against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

That just doesn’t include the biggest enemy of all: The devil.

Hill also has a Twitter account on which he identifies himself as a “comedian,” although he maintains his beliefs and his run for the California Senate is not satire, nor a joke.

Better take his word for it.

There’s nothing funny about any of this, because there is absolutely nothing funny about Satan and the number 666.
