Jesus is both the son of man and also the son of woman

If a Christian were to replace the phrase SON OF MAN with the phrase SON OF WOMAN in verse Matthew 20:28 the text would still be correct, simply because Jesus is the son of a WOMAN “MARY his mother”. 

Restated Matthew 20:28 reads “Even as the SON OF WOMAN came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many”

1 John 4:2

….”every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh (of Joseph) is of God”.  No one argues that Jesus came in the flesh of his mother Mary; but ALMOST everyone denies that Jesus came in the flesh of his father JOSEPH.    

The pagans were pleased when the Catholics added the virgin birth to our Christian Bible, but the Jews knew that would mean, believing in a counterfeit Messiah who is not related to both Joseph and Mary and therefore doesn’t fulfill the Covenant that God had with King David and Bathsheba.

Hebrews 2:17

“Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us…” in his conception, birth, life and death (except without a sin nature); otherwise he is not HUMAN LIKE US.
