Astarte or Queen in Heaven

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Just because we “think” there should be a female deity doesn’t mean that there is. YHWH made man in his image. Both men and women have two eyes, two ears, a nose, a mouth, two arms, two hands, four fingers and a thumb on each hand, two legs, two feet,  as well as other things that are similar. He changed the genitals on the female so that they would fit with a male so they could procreate. He did the same with animal. If you look at two cats you can’t tell the male from the female unless you look at them from the backside.  To assume that there had to be a female deity that he “works with” for YHWH to make a female person is assuming. If we read the Bible you will see that there is a mention of a female deity but we are not to worship this deity.

In Exodus 20: 4-5 it tells us:

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

This includes male deities, female deities, graven images, in heaven, in the water, or under the earth.

Manasseh was a wicked king that placed a pole of Ashtra in the temple of YHWH. You will see this in the verses here:

2 Kings 21 1-7a

1Manasseh [was] twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name [was] Hephzibah. 2And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel. 3For he built up againthe high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove,as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them. 4And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name. 5And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD. 6And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought muchwickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke [him] to anger. 7And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house,

In verse 7a above where is says “graven image of the grove” that is referring to a carved pole of Astarte.

In the next scriptures it tells the reader why Manasseh was not suppose to make this and put it in the temple.

2 Kings 21 7b-9

of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever: 8Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to doaccording to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Mosescommanded them. 9But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

I hope this information has helped you understand a little bit more about YHWH.

      worship of Mary & saints is violation of the commandment…it is just as wrong as using images, idols, and icons, which is idolatry…those who do these things do not have saving faith since they have never repented.

      Worship of false gods & goddesses, & use of idols is on the same list of hated works as murder is….these works are just as evil as murder…
