CAMP FEVER STRIKES ODESSA

A priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church recently went through the city centre of Odessa, blessing the street with Holy Water following a Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transvestite (LGBT) cavalcade, reports Odessa Media.

Fr. Oleg Mokryak, the head of the Odessa Diocese Missionary Department, went along Seaside Boulevard with parishioners dousing the road, people, and monuments with Holy Water. He explained as he went that he was cleansing the boulevard, after the sexual deviancy display had defiled the street.

The Odessa Pride 2018 parade was part of a larger three-day event. Supporters of traditional Ukrainian family values also protested during the parade, holding signs reading “All together for the family” and flags with icons of Christ.

Pride Parades in Odessa had been successfully banned in the past, such as in 2015, though this year’s went off without a hitch. In neighbouring Russia, promotion of deviant sexual activity between members of the same gender is outlawed and children are protected from the contagion.

Can deviant sexual behaviour be classed as a disease; this is arguable. However, it is known that the negative effect of same-sex activity is similar to the population reducing scourge of typhus or cholera. Interestingly, endemic typhus is known by the name ‘camp fever’.

Creating conditions for the spread of typhus and cholera was a strategy adopted by the RAF and the United States Air Force during World War II.

Its purpose was de-population; a heavily traumatised and dismembered Germany could not hope to sustain their pre-war populations. As a consequence, millions died and tens of thousands confined to concentration camps perished. The bonus is that the defeated Germans who denied their day in court were unable to defend their reputation.
