Ο Οικουμενικός Πατριάρχης στο βενετσιάνικο νησί San Lazzaro degli Armeni

Αυτό ήταν το μήνυμα του Οικουμενικού Πατριάρχου Βαρθολομαίου, από το βενετσιάνικο νησί San Lazzaro degli Armeni, το οποίο επισκέφθηκε την Πέμπτη 15 Νοεμβρίου 2018.

Ο Πατριάρχης Βαρθολομαίος ευχαρίστησε για τη θερμή υποδοχή, στην οποία συμμετείχε και ο δημοτικός σύμβουλος για την Κοινωνική Συνοχή, Simone Venturini, και επισκέφθηκε το μοναστήρι των Αρμενίων Mekhitarist, υπογραμμίζοντας την εξαιρετική σημασία της συλλογής χειρογράφων που σώζονται εκεί. Συγκεκριμένα, μίλησε για το νησί San Lazzaro ως τόπο “διαφύλαξης της μεγαλύτερης πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς του Αρμενικού Έθνους”.

“Αυτό το νησί”, είπε ο Οικουμενικός Πατριάρχης, “είναι ένα πολύ σημαντικό κέντρο της αρμενικής κουλτούρας και της πνευματικότητας και είναι πραγματικά μια όαση γαλήνης και προσευχής.”
