Read Psalm 119: 33-40 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
Teach us, O Lord, your ways, and your statutes; that we may walk in them all the days of our lives. Give us understanding, that we may observe your teaching and demonstrate your love with our whole heart. Lead us in the paths of your commandments, for we delight in your paths. Incline our hearts to treasure your testimonies and creative works of the past and the blessings that you have given us in this life and the hope of the eternal life to come.
Through the help of your Holy Spirit, write your teaching on our hearts that we might observe them daily and that they may become a natural part of our daily lives. Inspire us O Lord to become your faithful servants and fulfill the destiny you have for us and your church.
Let us have a part in the great world-wide harvest in this generation and let us see revival and a new awakening in this nation. Bring healing to America with love and peace in our streets instead of the chaos and violence we are now experiencing in our cities. We want to see the banner of your Son Jesus flying over our land once more from sea to shining sea.
In Jesus name, Amen.
