St. Margaret of Clitherow

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

St. Margaret Clitherow was born in Middleton, England around the year 1555 to a protestant family. Margaret was known throughout the town for her wit and good looks, and in 1571 she married John Clitherow, and together they bore two children.

Several years after her marriage to John, Margaret was introduced to the Catholic faith, and converted. She was a zealous defender of Catholicism and hid fugitive priests in her home. Eventually, Margaret was turned in to the sheriff and tried for the crime of harboring Catholic priests.

While Margaret was on trial, many efforts were made to encourage her to deny the Catholic faith, but she held firmly. Finally, Margaret was condemned to be pressed to death upon sharp rocks. She was executed on March 25, 1586.

Pope Paul VI canonized Margaret in 1970.

From this narrative, there is no doubt that Margaret Clitherow is enjoying the eternal beatitude. After all, there should be a few souls going to heaven each hour of each day, as per the story told by a Primat des Gaules in the 12th century: A former archdeacon in Lyon, after having resigned from his prestigious post, retired in a desert place. He died August 20, 1153 at the same hour St. Bernard, abbé de Clairvaux died. Some times later this archdeacon appeared in the study of his former “boss”, the Archbishop of Lyon, and said: “Monsignor, please learn that at the hour of my death, 3500 died also. Bernard and I, as well as three others are in heaven, and 10 are in Purgatory”. From this ratio “saved per death” during the Middle-Age, one must deduct that during the time of the Reformation’s percussions against the Catholics, Margaret Clitherow, an obvious martyr for the holy faith, had to be among the few going to heaven -even if after an eventual passage through Purgatory. Should the Catholics pray for her intercession? The answer is no, because her “canonization” was irregularly done by a faux “pope”. Mgr. Montini was a demonstrated antipope, a thief who did not enter through the door, but by a side window “as a thief”.

        … let’s continue the comment…
The bogus “canonization” performed by impostors may lead the faithful to disastrously pray for the “intercession” of a damned who as been “canonized” either for cynical and criminal reasons, or simply out of the politic of the century. The current feast of All Saint Day represents such a danger.
Margaret Clitherow, or others obvious great souls, or even lesser known souls such as for example Charlene-Marie Richard, “the little Louisiana Saint” seem to be in heaven to some individuals upon private revelation, but should not be prayed for directly as either an individual as well as by the multitudes. This is a disobedience against the authentic hierarchy currently in exile during this unprecedented darkness of the “Church in eclipse”.
Once, the legitimate pope in place, the calendar of saint will be regularized.

One anecdote that may illustrate the situation (of the newcomer saints). Padre Pio, the only stigmatized priest of the entire history of the Church is universally believed to be a “Saint”. The saintly Franciscain friar had the gift of prophecy among the many grace he was given. He had made an unusual request: he told wishing to remain at the gate of heaven until after the last one be admitted. Padre Pio desired to remain praying for the others and be the last saint in heaven. Padre Pio anticipated -without a doubt by a divine inspiration- the current problem of canonization cause by the imposture of the antipopes, as well as by the forced absenteeism of the authentic hierarchy under the yoke of Petrus “in exile”.
