Our Father,

Jonah was more concerned about a plant than the destiny of thousands of people; men. women, and children, including their animals. He wanted to see Your judgment upon them rather than the mercy You gave.

Lord, we pray for Your mercy for everyone; let Your Spirit be poured out upon every nation. We want Your Holy Spirit to help us to be concerned about all people in this life and their eternal destiny in the life to come.

Please give us Your guidance in presenting Your Good News and the salvation that comes through faith in Your Son Jesus to all we can; even those who do not like us and those in nations who look upon us as enemies.

We want this to be the generation that will see Your Word preached in every language and to every people. Please inspired us and show us how to participate and help in that process.

In Jesus name, Amen.
