In diesem Interview mit Plagiatsforscher Michael Dougherty ist die Dissertation von Bischof Stephan Robson wieder Thema (Tagespost vom 27. Jan. 2022, S. 27). Nachdem er Hunderte von Plagiaten in dem preisgekrönten Werk über Bernhard von Clairvaux gefunden hatte, schrieb Dougherty der Päpstlichen Universität Gregoriana: “Ich forderte 1. die Aberkennung von Robsons Doktortitel, 2. den Entzug des Premio Bellarmino und 3. den online-Widerruf des 2004 veröffentlichten Buchs. Bis heute habe ich keine Antwort erhalten.” Er folgerte: “Wenn eine Hochschule nicht in der Lage ist, echte von unechten Dissertationen zu unterscheiden und letztere sogar mit Preisen auszeichnet, dann haben wir es mit einer Institution in der Krise zu tun.”
