We are an unorthodox organisation that has been established to fight xenophobia, crime, violence and hunger against Zimbabwean Immigrants in South Africa.
Our people have been robbed because they are foreigners. Our people have been harassed, attacked, killed and some burned to death just because they are Zimbabweans in South Africa.

We are totally against xenophobia, hate and discrimination against foreign nationals. We want to help Zimbabwean Immigrants who face different challenges from Johannesburg to Lusaka.
We want to give them skills and humanitarian support in case of any problems.
Our dominating spirit is respect, friendship and harmony between different races, tribes and nationalities.

Our Profile

Defend Zimbabwean Immigrants Fund. It is a South African registered NGO to help Zimbabwean refugees in South Africa. We are facing different challenges from employment, security, health , education, and xenophobia.

Objectives

a) To further the political and social goals of Zimbabwean immigrant refugees.

b) To improve the state of the Natural environment in which they live in encouraging observance of human rights of Zimbabwean refugees

c) Improve the welfare of the disadvantaged Zimbabwean immigrant refugees offering them a relief on co-operative image.

Vision and Mission Statement

To work towards creating a better Zimbabwean refugee status which provides basic health, education, and empowerment to every Zimbabwean. Further provide services to Zimbabweans both inside and outside to provide a better training to the Zimbabwean government, civil servants so that they are able to cope in the situation they are facing.

Goals

To provide Zimbabwean refugees with better services to defend their human rights, to provide them with skills that can be used the time they return back home to Zimbabwe.To promote voter education and democracy so they be informative to the environment around themselves.
