-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Psalms 76
Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Psalm 76 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
From the heavens you proclaimed judgment and from your Kingdom you have established your mercy over all who are humbled before you and have faith in your Son Jesus.
Nations have risen and fallen, kings and rulers have been established and replaced. Your blessings have been over our nation from the beginning and now so many have rebelled against your word and say there is no God over creation that can judge our actions. So many are calling evil good and righteousness ‘on the wrong side of history.’
Those who still respect and live according to your Word are now being singled out as judgmental bigots who unlawfully discriminate against others. The church of your Son is facing restrictions and opposition in a land that is suppose to have freedom of religion but increasingly that right is being trumped by those who sin against nature and your creation. Nevertheless we need your mercy in the midst of rumors of war and actual war and the pandemic that continues; we cry out for revival in this nation instead of the destruction that our enemy the Devil is supporting and planning.
Rise up O Lord and empower your people to face the challenges of this day and bring down your Kingdom in our midst. Let your servants go forth with signs and wonders confirming your Kingdom message and let healing and miracles silence the evil one and his minions. Let the church which is divided become unified in purpose and in your love once more.
Let this nation be awakened by your Holy Spirit once again and let the captives be turned free from their addictions and those suffering from mental disorders, that the evil one has used to perpetrate his plans, be healed.
Let the church and the servants of Christ once more lead the way to healing between the races and cultures of our nation while there is yet day. Let your Kingdom come, your will be done on the earth and in this nation as it is in Heaven.
In Jesus name, Amen.

“we cry out for revival in this nation instead of the destruction that our enemy the Devil is supporting and planning.”
Revival? Good luck with that.
Probably no revival until enough pastors deal with these two issues from the pulpit and if necessary, in their own lives: https://youtu.be/Eef3Vu1imOg

Yep. The average Christian is an addict of one type or more. Addicts don’t get much done or think clearly and ponder deeply the important things.
Lets start a revival. Are you in?
