Ephesians 6:12

There you have it.

The real enemy is demonic.

Everything that was created including angels (a finite number of them) were created in the past.

Read Daniel chapter 10 and you will see that Angels are limited by time, space, and ability.

With that said I have a theory or two. Feel free to take issue in the comments.

Back in the Garden of Eden. The human race was, I think, an easily manageable group. Small, impressionable, and impulsive. Things would have turned out much different if Eve would have told the serpent to “hold that thought” and went to get her husband for a second opinion. If that didn’t work, they could have consulted God at sunset. But no.

Millennia later we number in the billions but we are still impressionable and impulsive. (more on that later). We are, I think, far too large in number for individual attention. I believe the enemy spends most of their time and effort on the powerful, influential, and popular. The one percent that control 99% of the wealth of the world. A miserable bunch with unusual tastes and desires (Epstein Island, no satanic influence there). Have you noticed that the more money a person has, the more they have to spend to be happy. This should not be so with Christians:

1 Timothy 6:8

If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.

But in regard to the visitors of Epstein Island or Ping Pong Pizza, The Magnificently huge egos and sense of self-importance of those that would do these unspeakable things to other fellow human beings, captives. Perhaps a generous donation to Ronald McDonald House will hush what little remains of their conscience. The enemy has been working overtime on  captians of the ships of the corporate world and governments. The enemy has been given whatever they desire and the gave the world to the enemy.

The powerful, Influential, and popular will keep the masses in line. What has the enemies plan been for most of the Church Age? Among other things, the above mentioned group of tools have been used to subvert and pollute in varying degrees the following: The Church, Governments, Education, Art, Philosophy, science, and medicine. That was a fairly complete list until the 1920’s. What is the most successful thing the enemy uses to control, pacify, and educate the masses? Yes, what indeed?

It is not a rival of the other institutions and organizations. It enhances and reinforces the influence of these others. Yes, what is it?

It has changed the lives and lifestyles of the inhabitants of the modern world in what we think, feel, believe, buy, and how we spend most of our spare time more than the 40 hour work week and the internal combustion engine combined. Ok then, what is it already?

Wait for it… Drum roll…

Give me a T. Give me a V. What does it spell? Television. Wait is it not just entertainment? Is it not just technology devoid of inherent morality? We will get to that. But first Christians might want to take note of how many hours of TV people watch on the average per week (about 20 hours or about a second jobs worth). If you don’t believe me. Google recently told me this:

People eat (in front of a TV when possible), sleep, work, and run a few errands and then with the remaining time, watch TV and incredibly enough spend some time on the computer. But it is safe to say that with TV topping the list, timewise, after the “have to” stuff is out of the way, PEOPLE LIVE FOR TV.

What is the Christian take on TV? Go on youtube and search “Christian watching Television”. The consensus seems to be, don’t watch bad stuff. Time spent watching TV appears to not be such an issue, or not one at all. About 40 hours a week is average so Christians are probably not too far behind inthis regard since most Christians are average. Minus some time for Church and we are probably right up there. How does so much TV fit in with the biblical Christian life? Or how can we make the Christian life fit into my “busy life style” that also includes tens of hours a week of not expressly forbidden in scripture entertainment? Well here is this:

Ephesians 2:10

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

Created for good works VS living for TV. TV is winning over good works, Spud.

And this:

Hebrews 12:1

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,

Does so much TV hinder us?

Running the race VS sitting and being amused. Sitting is winning over running the race, Spud.

Well that just the time aspect. TV is like Sesame Street for all ages. You pick the curriculum and go at your own pace. TV will teach you how to behave, think, feel and believe. Also what to buy and who to vote for. Have you ever heard a 13^th grader TV scholar at work or in a store spout off in this manner:

Most likely they learned it in their custom tailored video learning program. The whole thing is like the twilight zone but Rod Serling made his living off of TV so he never dealt with it. What an episode it would have been. Imagine if you will a race if inhabitants on a distant planet that labor all day and sit in a trance at night, nearly motionless for hours before sleeping. At the end the camera pans around to show a TV. The reality is really more bizarre. People are watching actors living lives were they do all kinds of stuff. Everything but watching endless hours of TV.

How does all this fit into the war against a spiritual enemy? I believe a huge percentage of the resources of the enemy is devoted to controlling the controllers of media, especially TV. They may even communicate directly (dictation) as needed. Have you ever pondered the reality that, of all the thousands of things to do with one’s time that are constructive and beneficial or just plain fun. The masses have almost universally opted in for a life of TV viewing. It is almost supernatural yet is seems natural to everyone. Only weirdos don’t watch TV.

Could it be that the enemy has neutralized their enemies by getting them to sit this war out since the advent of broadcast TV? The enemy also provides the bell curve of acceptable beliefs and opinions and programmed responses for the masses. They also provide the most trusted sources in NEWS, even if it’s not true. In the last 5 years or so, a few in alternative media pushed back and FB, Twitter, Youtube pushed back with bans and slander. Therefore Rumble and bitchute (BIN was already awake).

What happens when Joe average has a thought or opinion that is off the bell curve (off the reservation)? He will most likely keep it to himself. Have you ever heard of Solomon Asch? His LINE experiments showed that many people will conform outwardly information presented, even if they know the information is false or incorrect IF the majority believes it is true. Going along to get along. Don’t want to look like a weirdo. Must be accepted by total strangers. This must have been big news and a useful tool by the network execs. Think about it. If you lie incessantly about how everyone or almost everyone believes a certain way when in reality almost no one does, most of the holdouts will keep their mouths shut and some will lie or spin when asked for an opinion. You have to be one of the cool adult children at work. Reading up on Asch is worth the time. Time to throw off this yoke.

Have you heard of Stanley Milgram? His experiments showed that many people will do things to another human being that they find morally reprehensible or objectionable just because someone they perceive to be in authority told them to do it. Therefore the holocaust explained. In recent times a law enforcement authority “took the knee” in obeisance to the rioters, legitimizing destruction, theft, and violence. There you go. One example that captures aspects of the above. Joe average will remain silent. Stanley Milgram is worth reading up on. Time to throw off this yoke.

40 hours of wasted time, social engineering, and programming. Perhaps it’s time to throw off this yoke. If only Pastors and Bible study leaders would make this an issue. They dare not. Watching TV is not explicitly mentioned in the Bible. Also Pastors would need to lead by example. They might be addicted like just about everyone in their congregations. No one is going to take away their drug.

Will the next presidential election turn out any different than the last? Sadly, probably not. The few awake ones did much. Most watched and most watched the latest version of Friends and even many Christians hoped two of the main characters would finally get together and fornicate. Did they even write one letter to any of the one percent or one of their minions?

What if Christians stopped watching TV and then asked God “What would you have me do”? We would overwhelm the enemy numerically. We would be unstoppable. Billions lost hours a year recovered and redirected. Efforts that put the enemy in the cross hairs. Plan A for most Christians is to float down stream in an inner tube with drink in hand, soaking in the good life and praying for more while heading towards the waterfall. Plan B is to swim upstream against the tide of the times.

I hope you agree in regard to what Christians need to do, to graduate into the real world. Perhaps you can talk to your Pastor? Time is short. Where is the next innovator of the obvious (Slaps forehead and says “Of Course”) such as John Wycliff (gets the crazy idea of translating the Bible into English). He is probably watching TV.
