Episcopal Bishop of California offers Nancy Pelosi Communion Denied by Catholic Church
For millions of Christians worldwide, receiving the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, also known as Communion or the Mass, is central to their faith practice. This sacrament of Christ’s Last Supper, a shared meal of bread and wine, is a sacred time of spiritual nourishment for the faithful of my denomination, the Episcopal Church, and many others, perhaps most notably the Orthodox and Roman Catholic branches of the Christian faith.
As someone who has known Speaker Nancy Pelosi for more than 16 years, I believe she is greatly strengthened by the Sacrament she receives in her Church, the Roman Catholic Church. In the midst of heavy legislative duties and during times of travel, I have seen her, over and over again, make time to attend Eucharist. She does this not only on Sundays but also on Church feast days, such is the importance of the Sacrament to her faith practice. I have also heard her, time and again, reference knowledgeably and reverently the content of her faith as the wellspring from which her leadership comes.
This sincere and enduring faith, with the Sacrament of Communion at its center, has fueled Speaker Pelosi’s tireless and historic efforts to stand in solidarity with vulnerable and oppressed people everywhere, women and children especially. Now, with the future of women’s reproductive healthcare in the United States imperiled by the Supreme Court’s apparent stance on Roe v. Wade, I would argue that she needs the nurturing Sacrament of Holy Communion more than ever. The health and, in many cases, very lives of women, children, and families — all part of God’s beloved human family — are at stake.
I do not imagine nor suggest that Speaker Pelosi should abandon the Church she loves so dearly and to which she has been faithful her whole life. However, speaking as the leader of the Episcopal Church in the Bay Area, let me humbly reiterate that every Episcopal congregation in the Bay Area will welcome Nancy Pelosi, as we welcome all who wish to join us, to the Table of Jesus Christ, the Holy Eucharist.
Our beloved Speaker Pelosi is not alone in this moment, rather, as Jesus assured his terrified, confused followers in the days before his arrest and execution by the Roman Empire, God has given the world the gift of the Holy Spirit, the very presence of God, present to all, and is certainly present to Nancy Pelosi.
Speaker Pelosi has my gratitude for her leadership, my support, and my prayers.

As the Episcopal Bishop of California, I want to speak to the public announcement that Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be denied communion in the Archdiocese of San Francisco, and to say Speaker Pelosi is welcome to communion in all Episcopal churches in the Bay Area, as I am sure she is welcome to many faith communities everywhere. I support Speaker Pelosi in her clear commitment to women, children and families, her evident deep, personal faith and her embrace of a country founded on principles that include, importantly, separation of church and state.
Further, my statement is aligned with the policy of the Episcopal Church that affirms a call for “…women’s reproductive health and reproductive health procedures to be treated as all other medical procedures.” Further, our Episcopal Church position declares “that equitable access to women’s health care, including women’s reproductive health care, is an integral part of a woman’s struggle to assert her dignity and worth as a human being.”

Bishop Marc Andrus of the Episcopal Church is not the Catholic Church. The “Episcopal Church” is the renamed Anglican Church with the Queen of England as its head. The reason for the said renaming is obvious in the USA, since the United States constitution reject all dependency to political foreign princes or monarchs. Fine! what does the invitation of this Anglican/Episcopalian bishop to the Speaker of the House consists of? Just Communion? or a reneging to the RCC as a joining to the Church of England renamed “Episcopal” in order to hide the fact of depending upon the dominion of Queen Elizabeth?
There are cordial relations between the RCC & the Episcopalian, such as been seen in the recent past; for example the wonderful choir of Grace Cathedral (Nob Hill, in San Francisco) came to join the choir of the Catholic Cathedral of the Assumption of San Francisco during the episcopal ordination of the auxiliary Bishop William J. Justice back in year 2008, but cordiality may not permit any deviation of a sacrament, which is an open sacrilege. What Bishop Marc Andrus suggest is either unclear for the best, or muddy for the worst.
What this Anglican/Episcopalian bishop is either suggesting a divorce between Nancy Pelosi and the Catholic Church, that is a reneging to her Catholic faith, or the said sacrilege of a “spiritual adultery” (my own word! sorry, I could not find a more adequate word) from Nancy Pelosi.

A clear decision must be made from this unclear situation from both the Speaker of the House and the inviting Episcopalian Church: Will Nancy Pelosi, a self declared “devout Catholic” commit a sacrilege? and will the Episcopalian offer their own version of “the Body of Christ” to a stranger? which in this case will greatly devaluate the value of their own communion, which will be the equivalent to “giving bread to the dogs”, as told by Our Lord to the no Hebrew woman whose daughter “had a devil”?
Bishop Marc Andrus does not seem to realize the mine field he has stepped-on.
Religion is a serious matter: either you are a member of a church or you are not. Remember in the Book of Revelation Our Lord says that He “vomits the lukewarm”. It is possible to maintain cordiality with heretics, but it is impossible to share the same table, the same bed, the same everything. Such is the case, BTW for the hijacked RCC by the last six antipopes for over the past six decades. There are two distinctive churches: the Roman Catholic Church under the yoke of an authentic Vicar of Christ and a authentic hierarchy. This authentic Roman Catholic Church is minuscule, as compared with the world wide recognized counter-church of Rome, named the Synagogue of Satan. Our cordiality remains with the confused brothers & sisters of the false church of Rome, but nevertheless, we accept the schism.

My use of the word “schism” on the lines above is not an imprudence inadvertently typed on the keyboard out of an over-enthusiastic zeal. No! the word schism is coldly used because the current “RCC” represented by Archbishop Cordileone in the diocese of San Francisco, as well as the seven other dioceses of his province, is currently in a schism with the authentic Roman Catholic Church, because the legitimate Vicar of Christ, Pope Gregory XVIII, who is been forced into exile has made the public declaration that “he wishes to be known”. Here is a little history in a chronological order: On October 26, 1958, during the conclave following the death of Pius XII, the newly elected Cardinal Siri, after accepting his election became instantly Vicar of Christ. Siri took the pontifical name of Gregory, thus Pope Gregory XVII. This pope was forcefully incarcerated, and replaced by a faux “Vicar of Christ” known as John XXIII. Why did the jailers, who were Freemasons kept the authentic Pope Gregory alive? the answer is simple: as long as Pope Gregory XVII was alive, no other legitimate pope could surge that could counter the destructive work of their own men in the Vatican. This is why the authentic pope (Siri) was kept alive, but under constant guard for over 31 years until his death on May 2, 1989. The successor to Gregory XVII (Siri), elected in early May 1991 (a secret camerlengo took the relay for nearly the two years…

… This successor took the pontifical name of Gregory XVIII (this is eighteen as opposed to seventeen). It is the Vicar of Christ, Pope Gregory XVIII who “wishes to be known”. This typing hand is therefore acting under obedience to the Sovereign Pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church. Pope Gregory XVIII is in exile and must remain invisible for obvious reasons. So, this typing hand, as well as a clandestine network of faithful are the antithesis of St. Thomas’, since we believe without seeing a man in white cassock.
About the “schism”. Pope Gregory XVII (Siri) was nastily incarcerated in a prison/residency in Genoa. He suffered duress. He was drugged (and had handlers) when shown in public, and he knew that he could never escape alive. In understandable words, as the lone pope he represented the survival of the RCC, which then depended solely on his own survival. Back in Summer 1988, a certain former provincial archbishop, demoted to the lesser rank of titular bishop expressed the desire to perform a bishopric ordination of several traditionalist priests (Tridentine Mass only) against the permission of Antipope John-Paul II. This “rebellious” prelate was Bishop Marcelle Lefebvre founder of the SSPX. There is a series of letters between the pope (Siri) and the bishop, where Pope Gregory begged Bp.+ Lefebvre to not do the ordination for fear of a schism. That was in year 1988. At that moment the situation was very precarious…

… That was in year 1988. At that moment the situation was very precarious for the Church, because the authentic pope has just began being contacted from the outside by militants. Pope Gregory was passing pontifical document (as in a spy movie) where he secretly appointed a hierarchy to assure his succession. Pope Gregory’s clandestine operation was soon discovered, and he was assassinated. He expired on May 2, 1989.
The legitimate successor, the unknown Pope Gregory XVIII, on the contrary to his predecessor, in not incarcerated. He may be free, but still may not appear at once. This is the reason for a grass-root campaign of making known the exitance of the authentic hierarchy and the living authentic Pope Gregory XVIII. Naturally, the risk of “schism” no longer exist as during year 1988. The current schism comes from the procrastination of the regular, but yet false hierarchy of the counter-church under the yoke of Antipope Francis the Reprobate.
In conclusion, from the Nancy Pelosi case, we drifted a long way at exposing the critical situation of the Church versus the counter-church which is the only known to the world. We think those lines to be important, because their are at the root cause of the confusion of the poor brothers & sister of the Catholic faith. A problematic situation where our poor sister Nancy Pelosi has become a victim.
