Who is worse?

Those hypocrites who claim to worship God but instead worship themselves,
 
Or those hypocrites who see the first hypocrites and use it as an excuse to reject God?

Both are odious in my opinion.

And both are headed with a one way ticket to doom.

It is every mans right to know God in his heart ( man includes woman- it’s in the name)

It is also every mans responsibility, not some external source.

A holy one is someone who is given a gift by God to share his knowledge of God with others. These are few and far between.

But God speaks to every heart. There is no intermediary and without that still small voice of God a holy one is not going to help you.

By posing a need for an intermediary or I won’t believe you are endangering your salvation.

Not to say God does not speak to you through others. He does all the time. We live in a community.

But he speaks direct to your heart and you have to recognise and respond to his voice.

If you do not hear his voice seek him out. Ask him to give you a proof of his existence and ask him to give you a sign of his love for your soul.

You have crowded him out by your love for or entanglements with the world. It has to be your free choice to seek God. He does not nor will he impose himself on you, never. That’s why he had a still small voice not the loud insistence of the world we are constantly bombarded with.

But I come to help you withdraw from that, recognise and reject it. Find a quiet place free from distraction, calm yourself, and just be in the moment. This is where your heart meets God. This is the time. Devote yourself to God, do not simply acknowledge him although that is a beginning. The beginning of the upward movement away from darkness, despair and whatever else you suffer in life. Take all your problems to him and never be afraid that he will not console you and lift you up.
Be of good cheer. As he says “For I have already overcome the world.”
These are the words of Christ, the Saviour of the World.
