Chair of Saint Peter

Feast date: Feb 22

The Feast of the Chair of St. Peter celebrates the papacy and St. Peter as the first bishop of Rome. St. Peter’s original name was Simon. He was married with children and was living and working in Capernaum as a fisherman when Jesus called him to be one of the Twelve Apostles.

Jesus bestowed to Peter a special place among the Apostles. He was one of the three who were with Christ on special occasions, such as the Transfiguration of Christ and the Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane. He was the only Apostle to whom Christ appeared on the first day after the Resurrection. Peter, in turn, often spoke on behalf of the Apostles.

When Jesus asked the Apostles: “Whom do men say that the Son of Man is?”

Simon replied: “Thou art Christ, the Son of the Living God.”

And Jesus said: “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood have not revealed it to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I say to you: That you are Peter [Cephas, a rock], and upon this rock [Cephas] I will build my Church [ekklesian], and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever you shall bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven”. (Mt 16:13-20)

In saying this Jesus made St. Peter the head of the entire community of believers and placed the spiritual guidance of the faithful in St. Peter’s hands.

However, St. Peter was not without faults. He was rash and reproached often by Christ. He had fallen asleep in the Garden of Gethsemane instead of praying, as Jesus had asked him to do. He also denied knowing Jesus three times after Christ’s arrest.

Peter delivered the first public sermon after the Pentecost and won a large number of converts. He also performed many miracles and defended the freedom of the Apostles to preach the Gospels. He preached in Jerusalem, Judaea, and as far north as Syria.

He was arrested in Jerusalem under Herod Agrippa I, but miraculously escaped execution. He left Jerusalem and eventually went to Rome, where he preached during the last portion of his life. He was crucified there, head downwards, as he had desired to suffer, saying that he did not deserve to die as Christ had died.

The date of St. Peter’s death is not clear. Historians estimate he was executed between the years 64 and 68. His remains now rest beneath the altar of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.

This article, as expected from CNA, which is verily the voice of the counter-church, is telling a half truth. Several mystics have been send ahead of time in order to warn of the revisionism in all things. For example the mystic from Britany Marie-Julie Jahenie foretold in the late 19 th Century the horrible humanist prayers during the offertory part of the Mass of Paul VI (Nova Ordo Missae), or again, God in his infinite mercy told Maria Valtorta, the Italian mystic during the 1940′s about details on the life and qualities of each apostles. We live in the Eclipse of the Church which was a prophecy, so it is a must to reset as many errors as possible to the best of each militant’s ability. For once, let’s reset the gross error of this article, which is verily “St. Peter’s chair in Antioch” to-day February 22. The other feast of “St. Peter’s Chair at Rome” was last month on January 18. Antioch was the seven years residence of St. Peter, as first bishop of that city. Later he went to Rome, the center of Catholic unity, where he fixed his Chair as Chief Bishop. That fixing and ‘consolidation’ of two feasts is important to point-out, even though it profits the destructive task of the antipopes. I charitably remind to all, that deliberate and willful misinformation, is a sin against the Holy Spirit of God, and there is no forgiveness for sins against the Holy Ghost.

Through the mystic M. Valtorta, we learn that Sts. Peter, Andrew, Phillip & Bartholomew, Apostles were from Betsaida, with the two latest been small farmers while the two brothers were fishermen. Betsaida has disappear, but was recently excavated by archeologist about a mile inland, because it became buried by the alluvions from the Jordan river’ eastern estuary. Peter was married to Porphyre, a timid and sweet woman from Capharnaüm, which was a larger town with its synagogue on the other bank from the Jordan river’s northern estuary. Porphyre had no children, but Our Lord granted Peter an adoptive son, a young orphan by the name of Jabe. The young boy gave a comforting joy to Porphyre who often was left alone went her husband left her for the Lord. Eventually Jabe was renamed Martial by Our Lord on Ascension Day, minutes before His left us for heaven. Martial became a martyr bishop in southern France much later.
From the vivid descriptions by the mystic we have a good idea of the personality of St. Peter. He was impulsive, but also was an uncontested leader. He could be envisioned as a crafty foreman in any work place, as well as a clever commando chief during the many tribulations occurring before and after the birth of the primitive Church. This portrait is important because it proves that God made the right choice each time for the man of the moment, as it has been done throughout the twenty centuries of the history of the Church. This…

… history of the Church. This divine choice of the right man for the moment has not failed during the Eclipse of the Church into which we are all plunged. The last publicly known legitimate Pope Pius XII was forcefully replaced by Antipope “Saint” John XXIII, followed by an uninterrupted series of usurpers up to our current number six, who is the reprobate Antipope Francis. All those usurper men were designated by men enemies of God, but God maintained alive the men of His choosing. Those are the two mysterious “Les deux papes vermoulus” from the prophecy of N.D. de La Salette, that is: two popes left abandoned like unused furniture forgotten and degrading in the attics. Those are Popes Gregory XVII & XVIII. Those two legitimate Holy Fathers resembled the original Petrus (or Cephas). Pope Gregory XVII endured his captivity, but as soon as the opportunity presented itself, he pragmatically organized his succession.
Gregory XVIII, once elected two years after the death of his successor, did the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary with a ‘dozen’ unionist bishops. This ‘dozen’ bishop satisfied the demands made at Fatima. The Consecration was done on May 13, 1991, under the nose of Antipope “Saint” John-Paul II. The effect upon Russia was immediate. Please look it up. That say, ‘Petrus’ designated by the Holy Spirit of God proved to be a harmonious continuation of Simon of Jona, Cephas or Petrus one more time again…

That say, ‘Petrus’ designated by the Holy Spirit of God proved to be a harmonious continuation of Simon of Jona, Cephas or Petrus one more time again in our century by re-enacting Christ’s Vicar eleven apostles and seven deacons who changed the face of the world, with this time in our own century, Petrus again bringing a light of hope from the darkness of the Eclipse.

I hope that my lines have been a reset to the false realities and revisionism which continue to bring confusion to the Roman Catholic Church. I hope also that CNA is getting aware of the damages it does through mixing dates. The “feast” you describes was celebrated January 18. It is a grave mis-representation of known historical facts of the legitimate Church of Jesus Christ.

        END.
