What Do You Believe is the Most Intellectual Teaching of the KJV Bible? Would You be Interested In Reading Mine?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

The KJV of the bible contains about 1,500 pages. It is filled with history, as well as the teachings of Jesus Christ. I have read all of those pages, and some-Many times over. So with all of that information contained within, I asked myself the question…”What is the most profound, intellectual teaching of this book?

Before we begin, I’d like for you to think for a moment about how YOU would answer this question. What would it be? Certainly, a teaching from the Savior. But what do you feel is the most profound topic that He taught?

After lots of thought and prayer, I am now ready to share my answer, as it seems to power over any other thought that I had. My answer…”Salvation by Grace Through Faith.”

Throughout history, philosophers, theologians, and seekers of truth have wrestled with one central question: How can a flawed human being ever be right with a perfect God? The Bible offers a strikingly unexpected answer—one so intellectually brilliant and spiritually liberating that it has changed lives, toppled pride, and offered hope to generations.

The King James Version (KJV), with its majestic and poetic prose, captures this revelation with stunning clarity:

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Ephesians 2:8–9

A Truth That Defies Human Logic

Every world religion and manmade philosophy tends to point toward performance: Do more good than bad. Follow the rules. Earn your way to heaven. That’s logical by human standards—but grace isn’t logical by human standards. It’s divine logic. It says: You’re not good enough, and you never could be. But God loves you anyway, and He’s made a way.

Grace turns religion upside down. It silences pride, ends comparison, and humbles the soul. No one can boast, because no one earns it. It’s a gift. And it takes faith—a complete trust in Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross—to receive it.

The Most Intelligent Solution to the Deepest Problem

Sin isn’t just a list of bad behaviors. It’s a separation—a moral and spiritual chasm between God and humanity. Religion tries to build ladders across that chasm. Grace admits no ladder will ever reach.

Only God Himself could bridge the divide, and He did—by becoming flesh, taking our punishment, and offering forgiveness as a gift.

That’s not just mercy. That’s intelligent mercy. It satisfies justice while still offering love. It protects truth without compromising grace. No other solution comes close.

Why This Teaching Sets the Bible Apart

The Bible doesn’t just tell people to be good. It tells them they can’t be good enough—but that God will meet them where they are. No religious system so profoundly answers the human condition while also preserving both justice and love.

Salvation by grace through faith is the crown jewel of Christian doctrine. And the King James Bible preserves it with elegance, depth, and dignity.

What Exactly Is Salvation Through Grace?

Salvation through grace means that a person is saved from sin and eternal separation from God, not because of anything they have done to earn it, but entirely because of God’s love, mercy, and unearned favor—that’s what grace is.

Here’s a breakdown of what that really means:

🔹 1. What Are We Saved From?

We’re saved from sin, which separates us from God. Romans 3:23 says:

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

And the result of sin is death—not just physical, but spiritual (Romans 6:23). So we need saving from both sin and its eternal consequences.

🔹 2. What Is Grace?

Grace is God giving us something we do not deserve—forgiveness, a new heart, eternal life, and relationship with Him. It’s not a reward; it’s a gift.

The KJV puts it powerfully in Ephesians 2:8–9:

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

🔹 3. How Does Faith Fit In?

Grace is God’s part—He offers the gift. Faith is our part—we reach out and receive it. Faith means trusting in what Jesus Christ did: living a sinless life, dying on the cross in our place, and rising again.

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Romans 5:1

🔹 4. Why Is This So Radical?

Because it goes against every instinct of human pride. Most people think, “If I’m good enough, God will accept me.” But grace says, “You’ll never be good enough—but Jesus was good enough for you.”

It’s not a license to sin—it’s a transformation that frees you from the power of sin.

🔹 In Simple Terms:

  • You can’t earn salvation.
  • You don’t deserve it.
  • But God offers it anyway—as a free gift.
  • You receive it by trusting Jesus—not by doing good deeds.

So what About Our Works, and the Judgment?

This is a crucial question—and the King James Version (KJV) makes a clear distinction: you are saved by grace through faith, not by works, but your works will still be judgedjust not for salvation.

Let’s break this too down biblically and clearly:

🔹 1. Salvation is by Grace, Not Works

We already covered Ephesians 2:8–9:

“For by grace are ye saved through faith… not of works, lest any man should boast.”

So works do not save you. Only faith in Christ does.

🔹 2. But Works Will Be Judged—For Reward or Loss

Even though salvation is a free gift, your works after salvation matter. They are evidence of your faith and will be judged—not to determine if you’re saved, but to determine your reward or loss in eternity.

Paul explains this beautifully:

“If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”
1 Corinthians 3:14–15

In other words, you can be saved but still lose eternal rewards if your works were selfish, fleshly, or worthless in God’s eyes.

🔹 3. Believers Will Appear Before the “Judgment Seat of Christ”

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body,
according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
2 Corinthians 5:10

This judgment is for believers, not to condemn, but to evaluate. Think of it as a performance review by the King—not a trial.

🔹 4. Unbelievers Will Face the “Great White Throne Judgment”

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God… and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”
Revelation 20:12

Here, unbelievers are judged by their works—because they rejected grace. And no one’s works will be good enough to pass. That’s why their names are not found in the Book of Life.

🔹 So, Where Do Works Come In?

  • Before salvation: your works can’t save you.
  • After salvation: your works prove your faith and determine your rewards (or losses) in eternity.
  • At judgment: believers are judged for rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Unbelievers are judged by works at the Great White Throne—and condemned, because they rejected grace.

🧠 The Most Intelligent Balance

  • Grace saves you.
  • Faith receives grace.
  • Works prove your faith and earn eternal rewards.
  • Judgment is real—but different for believers and unbelievers.

Are you able to see the difference here? It might be entirely different from what you have been taught before. If it is, please do not take my word that this is indeed truth. Get down upon your knees and ask God to confirm the truth of His writings. Study this topic:

Saved by Grace – Rewarded for Works.

If you are a believer of Jesus Christ and have chosen to follow Him, it is really that simple.

If you are not a believer of Jesus Christ, study this topic:

Saved by Grace – Judged for your Works, and Be Tossed into the Lake

of Fire.

For, your names are not written in the book of life, and will result in this judgment being carried out.

If you are living a life of Christ, you will be prompted to repent of your sins frequently, and trying to live your best life. But you will come to find that YOUR judgment will simply be to offer you eternal rewards for the things that you have done on this earth that reflect His teachings:

🔹 1. Faithful Service and Stewardship

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
Matthew 25:21

God rewards faithfulness—not just success. Even small, unseen acts of faithfulness in how you use your time, talents, and treasure matter.

🔹 2. Soul-Winning / Leading Others to Christ

“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament;
and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
Daniel 12:3

Sharing the gospel, encouraging others in their faith, and leading people to Jesus are rewarded with eternal glory and recognition.

🔹 3. Suffering for Christ’s Sake

“Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven:
for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”
Matthew 5:12

Every insult, hardship, or persecution you face for following Jesus counts—it’s noted and will be rewarded.

🔹 4. Giving Generously and Sacrificially

“But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth…
And thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.”
Matthew 6:3–4

Even unnoticed or private acts of giving (money, food, support) will be rewarded if they’re done with a pure heart.

🔹 5. Loving and Serving Others

“God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love,
which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”
Hebrews 6:10

Every time you serve others in love—especially fellow believers—God remembers it.

🔹 6. Self-Control and Overcoming Temptation

“Every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things…
Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.”
1 Corinthians 9:25

Resisting sin, disciplining your body, and running your spiritual race with focus will be rewarded.

🔹 7. Longing for Christ’s Return

“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness…
unto all them also that love his appearing.”
2 Timothy 4:8

Just looking forward to Jesus’ return with love and anticipation is something God rewards!
