Community Hit by F5 Tornado, Not One Home Destroyed!
The town of Elberta Missouri was hit by a monster tornado last night as confirmed by the National Weather Service out of Oklahoma City. The tornado was a confirmed F5 and did a huge amount of damage to the surrounding areas. Eyewitnesses told of the horrifying event, which was a repeat of a storm experienced 5 years previously that completely destroyed the town, watched as the funnel cloud approached from the southwest destroying everything in its path until it hit the newly rebuilt area. Amazingly all the new construction including the new city complex and several businesses and churches appeared completely unharmed except for a few windows that were broken and porches that took flight. All of the cars not in garages were either destroyed or damaged but all of the homes were spared. Mayor Tom Rizzo attributed the complete survival of the homes to the concerted efforts of the local insurance providers who replaced most of the homes destroyed in the previous event, and the City of Elberta who passed an ordinance requiring tornado resistant construction practices. The vast majority of these tornado proof homes were built by a consortium of Compressed Earth Block contractors whose lower bids and leeds certifications not only rebuilt the town but apparently have spared the lives and property of the residents.
This could be true but sadly it is not! No town yet has been rebuilt with tornado resistant methods for the simple reason that up until recently those methods were much more expensive. That is not now the case. www.tornadoproof.us

Can you provide names of number of any of the “consortium of Compressed Earth Block contractors”? I can’t find any in Missouri. So far my best lead is a man North of Kansas city, but he has no number listed.
